INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts are proud to announce Tom Morales, a local Indianapolis, IN resident as this week's 2016 season honoree of the Colts Anthem Angels program, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Morales will be recognized at the Colts home game this Sunday, October 9, 2016 for his commitment to helping others.
Tom Morales, son of migrant workers, grew up in Indianapolis and later graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Engineering. Before his dad passed away he asked, "When are you going to give back?" challenging and inspiring Morales to consider others of Hispanic heritage who were also seeking opportunities for a better future in Indianapolis. As a result, Morales created the Morales Group in 2003.
Morales embraced the task of starting his company and found his calling to make a difference in the lives of others. His company helps legal immigrants find temporary and permanent jobs. Morales Group occupies five locations where the organization places approximately 3,000 people in new positions each year.
Morales said, "I encourage you to listen to the stories of those around you, to embrace diversity, and see, as I have, that Indianapolis is not just a crossroads but a destination for many with a similar story to mine."
It is our pleasure to honor our Anthem Angel, Tom Morales, for his servant heart and commitment to bettering the lives of others.
Morales will receive four (4) VIP Club Seat Tickets to the Colts game, a feature story with his photo in the Colts gameday magazine (the Scout) and on www.colts.com, as well as on-field recognition at the game.
