INDIANAPOLIS – Training Camp-like temperatures greeted the Colts on Tuesday for their final practice of the week.

The Colts will have their preseason finale on Thursday night at Lucas Oil Stadium (7:00 p.m. EST kickoff) with the Cincinnati Bengals coming to Indianapolis.

What did Chuck Pagano and Andrew Luck have to say to the media on Tuesday?Injury News

DT-Arthur Jones (ankle): Still waiting on final evaluations. Jones was in the locker room on Tuesday, but declined comment.

RB-Vick Ballard (hamstring): Trending in the right direction. His status remains up in the air for Thursday.

WR-T.Y. Hilton (concussion): Trending in the right direction under the concussion protocol. Practiced in a red (non-contact) jersey on Tuesday.

WR-Phillip Dorsett (knee): Appeared to be practicing on Tuesday.

TE-Coby Fleener (ankle): Appeared to be back practicing on Tuesday.

CB-Greg Toler (neck): Appeared to not be practicing on Tuesday.

OLB-Cam Johnson (ankle): Appeared to not be practicing on Tuesday.

RB-Josh Robinson (concussion): Appeared to not be practicing on Tuesday.

OG-Hugh Thornton (knee): Appeared to not be practicing on Tuesday.Andrew Luck on starting to prepare for the Bills:

"It starts this week. You start preparing and looking at film. It's going to be tough. That's a good defense. Coach (Rex) Ryan is a heck of a coach and they are always going to bring some funky stuff."

Bowen's Analysis: Luck and the Colts have begun preparations for the regular season opener coming on September 13.

With new head coach Rex Ryan at the helm in Buffalo, the stingy Bills defense has added a well-respected defensive mind now calling the shots. Many see Buffalo as a definite playoff contender in 2015 so it should be quite the road environment in Week One for Luck and the Colts.

Chuck Pagano on D'Joun Smith admitting he had a tough Training Camp:

"There's going to be some tough days…but he will be fine."

Bowen's Analysis: The 2015 outlook for Smith was thought to be bring the third-round pick along slowly, with three established returnees at the cornerback position.

That process could be on a bit of a fast track if Greg Toler (neck) misses any time. Smith has been working at cornerback on the outside and on the inside. With pictures of Darrelle Revis, Deion Sanders and Charles Woodson in his locker, Smith clearly has high aspirations for his NFL future.

Duron Carter on heading into the preseason finale:

"Last game, I played the most than I ever had in an NFL game. Going into this game, there's just a lot more confidence and hopefully I can do something spectacular."

Bowen's Analysis: Preseason finales are made for guys like Carter---the star of a Training Camp now trying to carry those playmaking skills over to a game setting.

Carter makes a good point that often people forget. He's so inexperienced from a game setting, even dating back to his college days. Carter is coming off a Saturday night where he logged the most snaps of any offensive player. He also received plenty of first-team work once Andre Johnson exited. Will Carter flash on Thursday?
