INDIANAPOLIS –Separated by less than 120 miles has given the Bengals and Colts a unique opportunity.

For the 11th straight season, the two teams will conclude the preseason with a weeknight matchup.

This year it will be the Colts making the trek down I-74 to battle the Bengals in Paul Brown Stadium.

Traditionally the final preseason game involves numerous battles for the final roster spots on teams across the league.

During the Colts' 20-16 win last year over the Bengals, quarterback Chandler Harnish was 9-of-16 for 162 yards and a touchdown.

The Colts leading receivers that evening all saw time on the regular season roster (Kris Adams-55 yards, Dominique Jones-44 yards and LaVon Brazill-28 yards).

Defensively, leading tackler Moise Fokou (seven tackles and one forced fumble) was an integral part of the Colts special teams units and provided depth on passing downs during the regular season.

Cincinnati is coming off a 10-6 regular season in which the Bengals fell in the AFC Divisional Round for the second straight season to the Houston Texans.

The Bengals have arguably the top young quarterback-receiver duo on in the NFL with third-year signal-caller Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green.

Over the past decade, Cincinnati holds a 7-3 preseason record against Indianapolis, but the Colts have won the past two meetings.
