Colts RB Jonathan Taylor nominated for FedEx Ground Player of the Year

In 2025, Taylor led the league in total touchdowns (20) and rushing touchdowns (18), as well as run snaps (363) and carries (323). He finished third in rushing yards (1,585) and explosive runs (36). He became the fourth player in NFL history with at least three touchdowns in five games in a season, and is the fifth player in NFL history to have three or more career games with 200-plus rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Taylor this season passed Pro Football Hall of Famer Edgerrin James (64) for the most rushing touchdowns in Colts history and passed James for fourth-most single season rushing yards in franchise history. He also tied himself for the franchise single-season rushing touchdowns record, set a franchise record for longest rushing touchdown (83 yards) and set a new single-season career high in receiving yards with 365. Taylor became the fourth player in NFL history with at least 18 rushing touchdowns in multiple career seasons.

Taylor was also selected to his third career Pro Bowl earlier this season.

With the crowning of the new FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year, FedEx will donate $15,000 to Feeding America food banks in the of each winning player's home market.

During the 2025-26 season, the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program supported Feeding America for the first time with every Player of the Week honor resulting in a $2,000 donation (totaling $4,000 each week) to local food banks. In total, $117,000 will be donated during the 2025-26 season as part of FedEx, Feeding America, and the NFL's longstanding commitment to addressing food insecurity.

FedEx will announce the 2025 FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year at the 15th annual NFL Honors.
