COLTS ANNOUNCE CHEERLEADER AUDITION DATES TO SELECT 35TH SEASON SQUAD

Dates include Final Showcase open to the public

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts today announced dates for its 35th annual open cheerleader tryouts, which will select members of the 35th Season Colts Cheerleader Squad.

Fifty finalists will be selected during preliminary tryouts beginning this Saturday, April 7.  Those finalists will move on to compete in a Final Showcase on Sunday, April 15, during which a panel of judges, including local celebrities and Colts personnel, will help select the squad as finalists perform group and solo dance routines.

The Final Showcase, which is open to the public, will be emceed Indiana native Drew Powell, star of FOX's hit series Gotham.  The showcase is presented by Tyler Mason Salon & Spa and Curtain Call Dance Studio.  Showcase tickets start at $10 and go on sale today at colts.com/showcase, but prices will increase at 12 p.m. on April 11.**

**Individuals interested in trying out for this season's squad must be at least 18 by May 1, 2018.  Candidates must be a high school graduate or have a GED as of July 1, 2018.  Registration information is available at colts.com/auditions.
