The Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders have released dates and deadlines for the 2026 Colts Cheer Auditions, presented by Tyler Mason Salon & Spa, the Salon Choice of the Colts Cheerleaders.

To help applicants prepare, Colts Cheer staff will host weekly in-person audition prep classes. Candidates may register for sessions at Colts.com/auditions.

Candidates are encouraged to get updates on Colts.com/auditions throughout the audition process.

• Wed., Feb. 4, 5 p.m. ET – Those interested in auditioning should apply at Colts.com/auditions by this deadline. Candidates must be at least 18 years old by May 1, 2026, and have a high school diploma or its equivalent as of July 1, 2026.
• Sat., Feb. 7, 12 p.m. ET – Candidates will receive an email link with choreography, music and instructions for submitting audition videos and material.
• Tues., Feb. 10, 6 p.m. ET – Deadline for candidates to submit audition videos and material. All videos will be evaluated by a panel of expert judges for accuracy of choreography, technical skills and performance.
• Sun., Feb. 15 – Top 50 finalists chosen and invited to attend in-person workshops.
• Sat., Mar. 7 – The finalists compete at an in-person Final Showcase at the Hilbert Circle Theatre where the final team will be selected. The team announcement will be livestreamed on Colts.com so fans can see who makes the team from home or on a mobile device.

The Colts Cheerleaders will celebrate their 43rd season in Indianapolis in 2026. The squad, which debuted in Baltimore in 1954, is the longest-running cheer program in the NFL.

In addition to performing for more than 63,000 fans at every home game, Colts Cheerleaders logged more than 1,000 hours in 2025 at community and other appearances and traveled to military bases around the world. Cheerleaders also commit themselves to being positive role models through the Colts Junior Cheer program, which currently includes more than 450 kids, ages 3-14.
