Colts announce 2026 coaching staff

Here is what the Colts' 2026 coaching staff will look like this upcoming year.

The Colts on Thursday announced their 2026 coaching staff, featuring five new members including defensive line coach Marion Hobby and game management coordinator Aditya Krishnan.

Strength and condition assistant Tyrell Brown joins the Colts with nine years of coaching experience, most recently serving as the assistant director of human performance for football at TCU (2022-26). Brown previously on the strength and conditioning staffs at Middle Tennessee State (2019-2021), Troy (2019), Washburn (2018-19) and Kansas (2017-18). He was also the Markus Paul Minority Strength and Conditioning Fellow for the Dallas Cowboys during the 2025 offseason program and training camp.

Defensive quality control coach Jeremy Bruce joins the Colts after spending the last eight years coaching at the collegiate level. He was most recently hired by UNLV as the outside linebackers coach. Prior to joining UNLV, Bruce worked with the defensive line and/or outside linebackers as a graduate assistant at Kentucky (2024), SMU (2023), Oregon State (2021-22), Fresno State (2021), Wyoming (2020) and Whittier (2018-19).

Bruce played a key role in Oregon State's 2022 Las Vegas Bowl win over Florida and developed the SMU defense into the best in the AAC in 2023. Also, while at SMU, Bruce mentored defensive linemen Elijah Chatman (signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2024) and Elijah Roberts (selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft). He earned his bachelor's degree in fitness/wellness specialist from Campbellsville University and his associate's degree from Golden West Community College; Bruce played linebacker at both schools.

Defensive quality control coach Dillon Doyle will enter his second year in the NFL after spending 2025 as a seasonal intern coach for the Buffalo Bills. He previously served as an offensive assistant at Central Michigan in spring 2025. The 25-year-old Iowa native was a linebacker at Iowa (2018-19) and at Baylor (2020-22). Dillon's older brother Declan Doyle was recently hired as the new offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.

Defensive line coach Marion Hobby joins the Colts with 31 years of coaching experience. He was most recently hired as the defensive line coach at Arkansas after spending the 2025 season as a defensiven analyst for his alma mater, Tennessee. He previously served as the defensive line coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2017-18), Miami Dolphins (2019-20) and Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24). Hobby was also the defensive ends coach for the New Orleans Saints from 2006-07.

In his time with the Bengals, Hobby worked under current Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and played a pivotal role in the development of defensive end Trey Hendrickson. Hobby oversaw Hendrickson as he became one of the best edge rushers in the league, compiling 57 sacks in 65 games and earning Pro Bowl recognition in four consecutive years. Hobby also helped the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI in 2022 and back-to-back AFC Division titles in 2021 and 2022.

Hobby earned his first defensive line coaching role at Ole Miss in 1999 and remained there through 2004, and he was the co-defensive coordinator/defensive ends coach at Clemson from 2011-16. He also spent time on the coaching staff at Duke (2008-10), Tennessee (1998), Louisiana-Lafayette (1996-97) and UT-Martin (1995).

The former defensive end and three-year starter for Tennessee was selected in the third round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings; the Vikings then traded him to the New England Patriots, where he remained for three years (1990-92).

Game management coordinator Aditya Krishnan served as the director of football research for the Los Angeles Chargers from 2020-24 and was a football research analyst for the Cleveland Browns from 2017-2020. Prior to the NFL, Krishnan was a senior financial analyst for Home Depot (2016-17) and a pricing analyst for Celadon Group (2014-15). He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. Krishnan has a master's degree in analytics from North Carolina State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Earlham College.

Additionally, the Colts announced that Mikey Blazejowski, in his fifth season with the Colts, has been named performance science analyst after serving as strength & conditioning assistant/performance science associate (2024-25), assistant sports science/analytics (2023) and sports performance intern (2022). Kalon Humphries, who has been the Colts' defensive Tony Dungy Fellow for the last two seasons (2024-25) will be assistant defensive line coach and Diego Ortiz, the team's offensive Tony Dungy Fellow from 2024-25, will be offensive quality control. Brent Stockstill, who has worked as a defensive assistant with the Colts for the last two seasons, will also be offensive quality control.

Isabel Diaz (Harriet P. Irsay Fellow) will return in the same role for the 2026 season, entering her fourth year in the role. At a later date, the team will announce a second Harriet P. Irsay Fellow and Tony Dungy Fellows.
