INDIANAPOLIS â The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent tight end Kyle Miller.
Miller, 6-5, 257 pounds, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars on July 27, 2011. Â He was waived prior to the start of the regular season on September 3.
Miller was a four-year letterman at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. Â He started all 15 games as a senior and totaled 62 receptions for 872 yards and seven touchdowns while earning All-OAC and All-North Region first-team honors. Â Miller was also named an ESPN Academic All-District IV selection and was the recipient of ESPN Academic All-America honors.
Miller attended Elida High School (Ohio) where he was an all-district and all-conference selection as a senior. Â His father, Mark, was a third round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns in 1978 where he played in two seasons as a quarterback.
