COLTS ADD FREE AGENT TIGHT END

Indianapolis has signed free agent tight end Kyle Miller.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent tight end Kyle Miller.

Miller, 6-5, 257 pounds, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars on July 27, 2011.  He was waived prior to the start of the regular season on September 3.

Miller was a four-year letterman at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.  He started all 15 games as a senior and totaled 62 receptions for 872 yards and seven touchdowns while earning All-OAC and All-North Region first-team honors.  Miller was also named an ESPN Academic All-District IV selection and was the recipient of ESPN Academic All-America honors.

Miller attended Elida High School (Ohio) where he was an all-district and all-conference selection as a senior.  His father, Mark, was a third round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns in 1978 where he played in two seasons as a quarterback.
