INDIANAPOLIS – From Week 3 to Week 13 of the 2013 campaign, the Colts will only play at home on three occasions.

The final one of those contests comes on Sunday afternoon when the St. Louis Rams (3-6) make the trek across I-70 for a regular season meeting.

With veteran coach Jeff Fisher at the helm for a second straight season, the Rams made a splash during the offseason.

Thanks to some major free agent acquisitions and a pair of first round picks, the Rams seemed ready to challenge for a playoff position in 2013.

After earning a road victory at Houston 38-13 on Oct. 13, the Rams season changed the following week.

Former No. 1 pick Sam Bradford went down with an ACL injury and it was time for a new quarterback to lead the then 3-3 Rams.

Bradford had thrown for 13 touchdowns and three interceptions prior to suffering the season ending injury on Oct. 20.

Backup Kellen Clemens is expected to get the start on Sunday afternoon and he's thrown for 387 passing yards and one touchdown in Bradford's absence.

While the Rams offense is still searching for major production from first round pick Tavon Austin, they've gotten more then they could ask for from fifth round choice Zac Stacy.

It appears that Stacy is the starting running back going forward and he's rushed for 475 yards on 103 carries.

The Rams have had eight different players catch at least 11 passes on the season with new tight end Jared Cook (32 catches for 411 yards) leading the way.

For the second straight week, the Colts will face one of the game's best front sevens.

St. Louis leads the NFL with a sack on 11.3 percent of pass attempts (29 total sacks) with Robert Quinn leading the NFC with 10.0 sacks (has two 3.0 sack games on the year).

The Rams are just one of three NFL teams with two players (Quinn and Chris Long-5.5 sacks) with at least five sacks on the year.
