INDIANAPOLIS — It's time to take a look at the unofficial snap counts from Thursday's 2018 Week 5 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots.

The Patriots got things started with two unanswered touchdowns, but by halftime, saw their lead balloon to 21 points, 24-3. But just like they did five days prior against the Houston Texans — when they trailed by 18 points more than midway through the third quarter — the Colts weren't giving in. Led by Andrew Luck and a defense that put the clamps down and forced two Tom Brady interceptions, Indianapolis was able to cut New England's lead to just seven, 24-17, by early into the fourth quarter.

But unlike that Texans game, in which the Colts would come all the way back to force overtime, the Patriots (3-2) would take advantage of some key Colts mishaps down the stretch, and earned a 38-24 victory.

The heavily-injured Colts (1-4) now get some much-needed time off over the weekend to heal up and properly prepare for their Week 6 matchup on the road against the New York Jets on Oct. 14. The Jets enter their Week 5 game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos at 1-3, and have had some real struggles on the offensive side of the ball.

But before we completely move on to that Colts-Jets matchup, let's take a look at the Week 5 participation, courtesy of the NFL GSIS (Game Statistics & Information) folks:
