Several Colts Assigned, Change Uniform Numbers [UPDATED]

With the start of the regular season upon us, several Indianapolis Colts players on Monday were either assigned, or decided to change, their uniform numbers.

INDIANAPOLIS — With the start of the regular season upon us, several Indianapolis Colts players on Monday were either assigned, or decided to change, their uniform numbers (UPDATED to reflect changes on Sept. 4).

New Colts players on the active roster:

— Wide receiver Marcus Johnson has been assigned No. 16.

— Safety Corey Moore has been assigned No. 36.

— Tight end Ryan Hewitt has been assigned No. 45.

— Defensive end Al-Quandin Muhammad has been assigned No. 97.

Colts players changing numbers:

— Running back Jordan Wilkins, who was wearing No. 30, is now wearing No. 20.

— Running back Nyheim Hines, who was wearing No. 42, is now wearing No. 21.

— Linebacker Zaire Franklin, who was wearing No. 97, is now wearing No. 44.

— Linebacker Skai Moore, who was wearing No. 48, is now wearing No. 55.

— Defensive tackle/end Denico Autry, who was wearing No. 95, is now wearing No. 96.

Colts practice squad uniform updates:

— Wide receiver Steve Ishmael, who was wearing No. 3, has changed to No. 17.

— Cornerback Lenzy Pipkins has been assigned No. 37.

— Defensive tackle Jihad Ward has been assigned No. 51.

— Linebacker Ahmad Thomas has been assigned No. 54.

— Defensive end Carroll Phillips has been assigned No. 59.

— Guard Jamil Douglas has been assigned No. 65.

— Tight end Mo Alie-Cox, who was wearing No. 48, has changed to No. 81.
