Colts Fans Can Donate New, Gently Worn Shoes at
Sunday's Game
INDIANAPOLIS – The Finish Line and Indianapolis Colts are teaming up to host a shoe drive to benefit shoe charity Soles4Souls prior to kickoff of the Colts vs. Titans game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, December 6, 2009. The Finish Line is asking Colts fans to bring new or 'gently worn' shoes to the game or make cash donations and drop them at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each gate of Lucas Oil Stadium beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET through kickoff. In addition to supporting a worthy cause, fans who donate will receive a valuable $10 coupon to use on a future purchase at The Finish Line on thousands of eligible items.
It is estimated that Americans have 1.5 billion pairs of unworn shoes lying in their closets. The charity will use every one of these pairs regardless of whether they are athletic shoes, work boots or children's sandals: Soles4Souls takes all types of footwear to make a significant impact on the lives of needy people around the world.
