Colts, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Sheild Honor Fishers "Angel"

The Indianapolis Colts are proud to announce Olivia Keith, a Fishers, Ind. resident, as a 2015 honoree of the Colts Anthem Angels program, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Keith will be recognized at the Colts home game this Sunday, October 4, 2015, for her outstanding contributions to the community.

Inspired by her parents, who have both suffered from brain injuries, Olivia Keith has been educating her peers about the importance of brain health and injury prevention since she was 8 years old. Olivia has made it her mission to ensure that other kids will not have to endure the same challenges that her parents face each day.

In January of 2014, Olivia started her own non-profit organization, Play It Safe, which teaches children how to have fun while protecting their brains and bodies. In her efforts to educate members of her community, she puts on presentations for a variety of groups. Olivia created a "5 Tips for Playing It Safe" card which she distributes at her presentations, and also created a game that teaches safety tips in a creative way.  In addition to her Play It Safe organization, Olivia has been awarded grants that have allowed her to provide 365 new bicycle helmets to underprivileged youth in Marion and Hamilton Counties over the past year.

Olivia has shown her heart for her community through her dedication and efforts in helping kids live a safe and healthy life. For this, we would like to congratulate Olivia Keith on being this week's Anthem Angel.

"Anthem Angels…Honoring Everyday Heroes" was established by the Indianapolis Colts and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to pay tribute to Hoosier "First Respondents" who may have received little or no recognition for the strides they have made to help others in human-service related professions.
