Rensselaer Central's Chris Meeks secured his 200th career victory in the Bombers' 51-0 win over Benton Central.

In Lawrence North's 63-48 win over Warren Central, the two clubs combined for more than 1,100 total yards of offense.

Gage Sturgill's two-point conversion run in overtime lifted Fishers to a 36-35 win over Franklin Central. The two teams accounted for almost 900 total yards.

Mishawaka's Steele Stadium is one of 25 finalists in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest. The winning school gets one million dollars to use towards football stadium renovation. The promotion awards $25,000 to each of the finalists, too, so Mishawaka will be getting some money regardless of if they win the grand prize. Mishawaka is the only school from Indiana selected. Fans are allowed to vote for the grand prize winner once per day on the promotion's website (www.t-mobile.com/brand/friday-night-5g-lights) through October 24. The winner will be announced October 30.

Lapel, North Daviess, and Riverton Parke are 7-0 for the first time in program history.

Hammond Central and South Central are 0-7 for the first time in program history.

Southport snapped its 17-game losing streak with a 36-0 blanking of Terre Haute South.

Fort Wayne Concordia ended a 14-game losing skid with a 21-20 win over Fort Wayne Wayne.
