Even though football season is still a few months away, the Colts cheerleaders are headed into their busiest time of the year.

Travasha is one of 12 cheerleaders performing with the elite Colts Show Troupe next month in the Mediterranean. She loves to travel. "I've been to Japan and the Bahamas and I loved it, so I would like to experience everywhere else." As one of the vocal soloists and dancers on the upcoming tour, she practices three nights a week to prepare for the show. Add the five audition workshops she is attending, plus tryouts this May for the new squad, and you have one ambitious girl!

Even though she sounds like a seasoned veteran, Travasha is still considered a rookie. Her determination for success shines both on and off the football field. "It has given me the confidence needed to succeed in other ventures." Before making the 2008 squad, she danced on her high school and college teams. She also performed with a small dance crew.

Travasha is a student at IUPUI with aspirations of a career in event planning. In her free time, you can find her working at a popular family restaurant or doing activities with her sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma National, Inc. She also participates in local theater productions.

Travasha exemplifies the role of a "Sweetheart behind the Horseshoe." Her first year as a cheerleader has taught her to be a positive role model both in and out of her Colts uniform. "I want to make a difference…and I love the Colts!"
