Monday December 17th
Good Morning Colts fans! I'm Nicole T. and this is my third season as a Sweetheart of the Horseshoe! I'm very excited to share my week with you! I am a full time student at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers J) and today is my first day of winter break! Unfortunately, I spent my first day of break working all day. I am a leasing consultant for an apartment complex on campus. Fortunately, I love working with people so the day went by rather quickly. I was born and raised in Bloomington. A plus for going to school at IU is that my family members are only a few minutes away. On my lunch break I went to one of the local elementary schools and made it just in time to catch my little sisters Christmas program. After my shift ended, I got in a much needed work out and then relaxed while watching some Monday Night Football with my boyfriend Tim.
Tuesday December 18th
Rise and shine** For once, I had nothing at all on my schedule. This is very rare! Once I finally could drag myself out of bed, I started my day off with a nice workout at a local gym. I cleaned my apartment, spent some quality time with my dog Tebow, and caught up on my favorite TV shows.. I'd say it was a successful day! That night I met up with some of my friends who were home for Christmas break. They were some of my best friends in high school so it was great to see them and catch up! Night Colts Fans!
Wednesday December 19th
Today I had an awesome workout in Carmel at Core Pilates and Fitness. There were about 4 other fellow cheerleaders there which helped the workout fly by. After my workout, I drove back to Bloomington and then went to my parents' house and joined them for another workout! My dad does some kind of cardio in their basement every day and talked my mom and I into joining him. Once that was over, I went Christmas shopping with my family and relaxed for the rest of the night. I love spending time with my family and I can't wait to have them all home for the Holiday!
Thursday December 20th
Good morning! My day started off with work nice and early. Tuesdays and Thursdays I only work a half a day at work since it is a practice day! Once I got off work, I grabbed lunch and then went over routines for practice. Tonight's practice was sad because it was the last practice of the season L. It's crazy how summer practices go by so slowly and then as soon as football season starts back up, it all goes by so quickly! Since this practice was close to Christmas, we had a Christmas theme where each squad dressed up in something related to Christmas. Squad 1 represented the 7 days of Christmas. Squad 2 dressed up as all of the different reindeer. Squad 3 had Santa, Santa's elf, two reindeers, a snowman, and two presents. Lastly, Squad 4 (the tall squad) dressed up as a Christmas tree. Theme practices are always fun and the girls are always so creative with their outfits!
Friday December 21st
Happy Blue Friday! Today I threw on my Blue attire and headed to work. Waking up early the day after practices is always a struggle. Nine hours and a couple of Starbucks Skinny Lattes later, I was finally off of work. Still being exhausted from practice, I called it an early night and watched movies with my boyfriend and favorite little puppy!
Saturday December 22nd
Back to Core Pilates and Fitness I go! There is no better way to start off my day than a nice but hard workout with some of my teammates. Today more of my friends came home for the Holiday so we all put on our best Holiday sweaters and had a small get together at my apartment. It was such a great time and I got to see a lot of my friends that I had not seen in a long time!
Sunday December 23rd
GAME DAY!! I cheered on our boys in blue today with my family. On the Sundays that we don't have a home game and I don't have work, I try to go to my parents and watch the games with them. My dad always cooks tons of food on the grill and I always end up eating a little too much ;). Today we earned a spot into the Playoffs! I'm so honored and thankful to be a part of such a great organization. What a great day to be a COLTS fan!! Thank you for reading about my week, have a great day and GO HORSE!
