Monday, December 14th, 2009 – Hey Colts Fans!!!! This is anything but a normal week for me. I am currently a student at Ball State University studying Exercise Science and Dance. For me, a normal Monday would start off bright and early with a full day of classes from 8am to 2pm! Not this week! This is our last week before Holiday Break so that means finals. Most students don't usually look forward to finals, and neither do I, but I lucked out and only have two!  This particular Monday, I had the opportunity to sleep in later than normal which was a big relief because of the game yesterday. WOOHOO 13-0! And didn't we look cute in our Holiday outfits? (I uploaded some pictures from the game for you!) My roommates and I decided to grab some breakfast and then headed to the library by noon.  I ended up staying until 8 working on an open book final. After that long in the library I just needed to get out and do something. One of my sorority sisters and I headed to the gym for about an hour. Then I headed back to my apartment and watched a movie and got ready for bed.

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 – This morning my roommate and I decided to start the day off right. We headed to the gym around 9:30 and stayed until around 11. After the gym and getting ready for my day, I had quite a few errands to run today before practice. My roommates and I were planning on doing a "stocking-stuffer" gift exchange and dinner so I went shopping. It took me a while to find something good for all three of them, but I really think they will like their presents! I can't say what it is because they still haven't recieved it yet… so shhh!  Before I knew it, 3:45 came around and it was time to leave for practice! I am very lucky to have 5 other cheerleaders who attend Ball State as well. We all car pool and take turns driving and tonight was Jessie's turn. We usually leave a little early so we have time to stop by Sun Tan City on our way to practice. Practice was a lot of fun and work as always. Our trainers from Cardinal Fitness came in today since we don't have practice on Thursday. Man, did they go tough on us tonight! We reviewed our dances that we will be performing for our December 27th game. We arrived back to Muncie around 11 and I had time to review my open book final one last time before it was due at midnight and headed to bed. What an exhausting day.

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 – Although I woke up very sore from our Cardinal Fitness workout, I still made sure I went to the gym bright and early. I am heading to Naples, Florida tomorrow for a mini vacation after my Chemistry final so I knew I wouldn't have time to go Thursday or Friday.  After the gym, I met a friend for lunch at Scotty's before my busy day took over. I had to pack, clean and study still all in one day!  I finally made it to the library around 7pm with my bags packed for Florida and Home (Chicago) already loaded in my car for the trip. I had a lot to work on, Chemistry was one of my hardest classes this semester and I need to do well so I stay on track with school. I stayed until 2am, barely able to keep my eyes open.

Thursday, December 17th, 2009 – Because I had a big final today, I knew it was important to get a good night's rest the day of a big test. I didn't set my alarm to wake me up until 11am and woke up feeling ready for the day. I reviewed the most important points and headed out. I ended up receiving a 93%!!!! I had a few more hours to do some laundry and clean my apartment before I headed out. We wanted to reach Florida as soon as possible so I was forced to listen to the Colts battle the Jaguars on the radio. I've never listed to a football game on the radio, and at first it was great and still very intense! That is until we got to Kentucky and lost the station. I spent the next two hours frantically searching between stations to catch the action. I finally found one that you could hear what was going on through the static… what a game. :)

Friday, December 18th, 2009 – We drove through the night, so we were still on the road to Florida. It wasn't my turn to drive until about 8:30 and then I drove the rest of the way. I had picked up a book on tape that made it easy for me to handle the trip. To be honest with all the traveling I do, I think I'm kind of hooked! The weather was awful, pouring rain almost the entire road trip.  So as you can imagine, it was a relief to finally reach Naples, get some dinner, and for it to have stopped raining! After an exhausting drive, I went to bed almost as soon as I unpacked.

Saturday, December 19th, 2009 – As my first day in Florida, I had every intention to get up early but then I reminded myself I was on vacation! I woke up around 10:30 and took a walk down to 5th Avenue. This is the main strip of Naples and only about a 20 minute walk. After a light lunch we walked back to the condo along the beach and attempted to hit the pool on the way in. I know you must think this is an awful thing to say of 67 degree weather but, it was still a bit too cold! We headed to the grocery store, stocked up on lunch food and decided what we wanted for dinner.  After relaxing around the condo we decided to grill out and ate outside on our balcony. The sight of the ocean was beautiful!

Sunday, December 20th, 2009 – The alarm went off at 10am today. With the morning breeze still in the air we decided to go for a run. It had been a few days since I worked out so it felt amazing. I love being able to run outside when it is nice out! We decided to go the local mall for something to do and ended up getting a few presents for the family. After dinner tonight, we made a gingerbread house and watched another movie before bed. We are only here a few more days so we hope to get a warm one tomorrow. I am glad I got to share my week with you! With the holidays approaching, I wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday! And of course, GO COLTS!!!
