Friday 10/16/09 - Still on vacation and its freezing outside!!!! I woke up at 8:30am, made a veggie omelet for breakfast, got dressed, met 3 other cheerleaders (Natalie, Ashley H, and Sarah Y) and headed downtown to Monument Circle for Zup's BBQ for Kid's appearance.

Monday- 10/12/09 - Wow, Colts vs. Titans on Sunday Night Football.  I love any game that ends in a Colts win!! (It's even better when we defeat a division rival) :) I can't think of a better way to start a Colts bye week.

This morning started early for me. Up and at 'em at 6:15am.  (I am not a morning person, so I rushed getting dressed to allow time for a coffee stop on my way into the office). I have to be at the office and ready to go at 8am this week, because we have training for a new product that my company is debuting soon.

After a long day of training, I headed to the gym where I teach aerobics on Monday evenings.  Finally, at 9pm, I headed home for the evening and straight to bed.

Tuesday. 10/13/09 -  I got up at 6:15am this morning and I have all day training at work again today.  Lucky for me, I had a birthday sushi dinner with one of my best girlfriends.  Usually we have cheerleading practice on Tuesday nights, but since it's Colts bye week, we have the week off also!

Wednesday 10/14/09 - Up at 6:15am again and off to training.  This is the last day of training and my mini vacation starts tomorrow.  After work, I headed to my favorite bookstore to get a new book.  I purchased, The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and a Rachel Ray 30-minute cookbook to brush up on my culinary skills.

After heading home and relaxing for a bit, I headed to the gym to get a good workout.  Since, I am on vacation for the rest of the week, I stayed up until 3am reading my new book.

Thursday 10/15/09 - YAY!! Officially On Vacation! I didn't wake up until 11am. I finally made it out of the house around 2pm and ran errands.  I did some grocery shopping, and went to visit the Eye Dr.  After my eyes were back to normal- I headed to the gym to workout. For dinner, I made a 30-minute meal from my new cookbook and it turned out great.  I spent the remainder of the evening and the early hours of the morning catching up on some shows from the week that were recorded on my DVR.

At the appearance there was a BBQ eating contest, which many of Indianapolis' radio and news personalities participated in.  It was hilarious to see them eating so many BBQ ribs.  What a mess!  I think the winner ate 76 ribs in 3 or 4 minutes.  Any one who came to the appearance had the opportunity to purchase a BBQ meal and all profits benefited the Children's Bureau.  If the cold weather kept you away this year, be sure to check the Colts website for details next year.  Zup's BBQ for kids is an annual event. After the appearance, I headed to Tyler Mason Salon and Spa.  It is the official spa and salon of the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders.  I got a haircut and a facial.  I relaxed at home for the remainder of the evening with my book, snuggie, and hot chocolate.

Saturday 10/17/2009 - I slept in again and headed straight to the gym to workout.  After my workout, I headed home to spruce up my place (and by that I mean- throw everything in the closet and under my bed), and made Chili for a few friends that came over to watch the Notre Dame vs. USC football game.  Definitely, an exciting game that went down to the wire. I cleaned up the mess and headed to bed after everyone left.

Sunday 10/18/09 - I woke up around 9am, read the local paper, made breakfast and headed to the gym to teach aerobics.  After my aerobics class, I met a friend for a Sunday Brunch.  After brunch, I headed home to get ready for the week ahead, since both my vacation and Colts bye week are now over. Sunday evening, I practiced our dance routines for the November 1st game with Holly B. over Skype, so we are prepared when Cheerleading practice resumes next week.   After our practice, it is officially my bedtime.  Good Night and Go Colts!!
