2013 IFD HONOR ROLL – WEEK TWO

A new state record for total offense in a game was established in Perry Meridian's 83-78 victory over Decatur Central. The two teams combined for 1,700 yards of offense, smashing the previous mark of 1,210 yards between Pendleton Heights and Mount Vernon in 2004. Perry Meridian rolled up 828 yards, paced by 490 yards passing and six touchdowns by quarterback Conner Smith. Running back Andrew Robinson added 198 yards rushing and four scores, while Ja'Quan Keys chipped in six catches for 194 yards and two scores to go along with 10 carries for 139 yards and one tally for the Falcons. Daymeon Hamilton finished with six receptions for 148 yards and three touchdowns for Perry Meridian. Decatur Central tallied 872 yards, led by running back Eli Conlin with 294 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Quarterback Tommy Stevens added 200 yards rushing and four touchdowns to go along with 221 yards passing and one score for the Hawks.

John Albomonte's interception with 45.2 second left helped Andrean hang on for a 34-21 win over Merrillville. Quarterback Matt DeSomer passed for 275 yards and one touchdown and ran for 191 yards and two scores for the 59ers. D.J. Wilkins threw for 253 yards and four touchdowns, and Jonathan Robinson added 10 catches for 197 yards and three scores for the Pirates.

Jeff George threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns in Warren Central's 42-28 win over Indianapolis Cathedral. Darius Lee added two scores and nearly 200 all-purpose yards for the Warriors. Colin Barthel was 22-of-37 for 360 yards and three touchdown passes to Terry McLaurin for the Irish.

Marquis Schieber's 11-yard scoring run in the third quarter proved to be enough as Jimtown held on for a 6-0 win over Glenn. Schieber also had an interception for the Jimmies.

Nolan Ayers threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns, helping Scecina Memorial to a 35-0 blanking of Speedway. Aaron Lemming had a pair of receptions for scores for the Crusaders. Notre Dame recruit Justin Brent tallied almost 150 all-purpose yards for the Sparkplugs.

David Dickey's 24-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was the difference as Indianapolis Roncalli edged Franklin Central, 30-28. Aaron Austin ran for two scores, and Corey Durm ran and passed for touchdowns for Franklin Central.

Kyle Castner's 207 yards passing and one touchdown was not enough as Saint Xavier (Ohio) cruised to a 34-7 victory over Indianapolis Ben Davis.

Brandon Scott ran for 122 yards and two scores in Lake Central's 24-0 shutout over East Chicago Central. Gelen Robinson came up with three quarterback sacks for the Indians, who limited EC Central to 34 yards rushing.

Torey Armstrong's one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the difference as Hammond Morton posted a 14-7 win over Lowell. George Fields paced Lowell with 89 yards rushing.

 Ramone Adkins completed 7-of-12 for 139 yards and five touchdowns, leading Gary West to a 38-0 victory over Lindbloom (Ill.). Lionel Johnson added three catches for 73 yards and three scores for the Cougars. 

Evan Rodriguez rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Whiting's 27-0 blanking of Hammond Gavit. Jesse Maynard added two scores, and Brett Gibbons had 11 catches for 144 yards for the Oilers.

Dominic Miranda's interception in the closing seconds helped NorthWood post a 28-20 win against Culver Military Academy. Miranda also ran for a score, and Will Kirkwood threw a pair of touchdown passes to Travis Bear for the Panthers.  

Darian Green ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns as Lafayette Jeff posted its first shutout since 2006 with a 26-0 blanking of Harrison (West Lafayette). Woody Archibald added a pair of interceptions for the Bronchos.

Wade Young ran for 190 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning two-yarder in the fourth quarter, in New Prairie's 28-21 win over Marian. Zach Brassell added 93 yards and one score for the Cougars. Devin Cannady threw a pair of touchdown passes, and Tyran Ottbridge chipped in 92 yards on the ground, including a 76-yard touchdown run, for the Knights.

Central Michigan recruit Zach Oakley was 10-of-20 for 152 yards and two touchdowns, leading Penn to a 32-0 triumph over Portage. Tyler Carpenter ran for 77 yards and two scores and tallied 83 yards in receptions and one touchdown for the Kingsmen, who limited Portage to 72 total yards and four first downs.

Matt Monserez finished 21-of-27 for 297 yards and three touchdowns as S.B. St. Joseph blanked Wawasee, 34-0, in a game shortened to one-half because of weather issues. Jake Froelich hauled in eight passes for 116 yards and two scores for the Indians. Gage Reinhard  passed for 106 yards for Wawasee, which was limited to six yards rushing.

Shaq Vann ran 20 times for 205 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, leading S.B. Adams to a 21-14 win over S.B. Clay. Colin Glick added two scoring runs, and A.J. Williams had two interceptions for the Eagles. Anthony Taborn had a 131 yards on the ground and one score for the Colonials.

Michael Hartman had 14 rushes for 218 yards and two scores as Plymouth breezed to a 35-0 win over Rochester in a contest stopped in the third quarter by in inclement weather.

Parker Ronchetto completed 17-of-18 passes for 259 yards and five touchdowns in West Lafayette's 56-8 thrashing of Lewis Cass. Ronchetto also ran for a score, and Maurice Woodard added two scoring runs for the Red Devils, who scored on seven of their eight possessions before the game was halted because of weather issues before the start of the fourth quarter.

Jon Stoller rambled for 153 yards and one touchdown in Bremen's 22-7 decision over Tippecanoe Valley. Kai Slough added 105 yards through the air for the Lions.

Taylor Raatz had six rushes for 113 yards and found the end zone twice as Lakeland cruised to a 48-13 win over Fremont. Marco Oliveras booted a pair of field goals (47 and 24 yards) for the Lakers. Nate Beatty ran 16 times for 114 yards and one touchdown, and Brock Baker recorded 11 tackles for Fremont.

Joe Smith ran 23 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns and also intercepted two passes, helping Lafayette Central Catholic to a 12-0 shutout over Guerin Catholic.

In Fountain Central's 47-6 victory over Turkey Run, Koby Pierce went 5-of-6 for 172 yards and four touchdowns. Ethan Woodrow hauled in a pair of touchdown passes for the Mustangs, who scored 33 points in the first quarter and held Turkey Run to minus-37 yards rushing.

Nathaniel Farrabee tossed for 147 yards and a touchdown, leading Southmont to an 18-0 win over North Putnam.

Kaleb Kinnaman rushed 27 times for 212 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kick for another score in Knightstown's 40-13 victory against Hagerstown. The Panthers rolled up 422 total yards to give new coach Kevin Miller his first win.

DuRon Ford ran for 103 yards and two scores in Brebeuf Jesuit's 78-0 drubbing of Crawfordsville. Le'Vante Bellomy and Jack Roberts netted two touchdowns apiece for the Braves.

John Lampe had more than 300 total yards in Carmel's 42-35 loss to Louisville Trinity (KY.). Lampe was 13-of-18 passing for 206 yards and one score and ran nine times for 114 yards, while Chris Perkins had two touchdown scampers for the Greyhounds.

Luke Johnson completed 10-of-13 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns, helping Southport roll to a 47-0 win over Mooresville. Christian Perry had 16 carries for 117 yards and two scores, and Tim Jewell added three catches for 116 yards and two tallies for the Cardinals, who racked up 464 total yards.

Joe Berry had 13 rushes for 162 yards and one touchdown and had an 83-yard kickoff return for another score in Prairie Heights' 32-14 win over Fairfield. Kyle Mast threw for 153 yards and two scores for Fairfield, who had its 12-game winning streak against the panthers snapped.

Connor Christiansen was 10-of-13 for 163 yards and two touchdowns passes to J-Shun Harris in Fishers' 51-31 decision over Hamilton Southeastern. Christiansen also ran for a score, while Maurice Campbell added 11 rushes for 149 yards and three tallies for the Tigers. Harvey Allen added 159 yards on the ground on 13 carries for Fishers. Jamitreus Crockman ran 14 times for 208 yards and three touchdowns, and Hunter Hardee chipped in 113 yards rushing and one score on 11 attempts for the Royals.

Trevor Wilmore passed for 175 yards (17-of-25) and two touchdowns to Matt Wilmore in Concord's 38-7 win over Elkhart Memorial.

Junior quarterback Vinnie Schnell accounted for  more than 200 yards of offense and three touchdowns, leading Elkhart Central past Goshen, 42-14. Schnell was 10-of-21 through the air for 156 yards and three scores to go along with 55 yards on the ground. Joe Phillips ran the football 30 times for 167 yards and three scores, and Blake Faus added a pair of scoring receptions for the Blazers. John Trenshaw had 10 carries for 100 yards, including a 42-yard scamper for a score for the Redskins.

Carrington Crutcher ran nine times for 191 yards and three touchdowns as Evansville Bosse snapped a 12-game losing streak with a 62-15 win over Washington. Crutcher, a member of the IFD's Prime Time 25, had a pair of scoring runs of 50-plus yards, and quarterback Ian Nunley was 7-of-8 passing for 145 yards and three touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Wide out Arius Carter added two touchdown catches for Bosse.

Timmy Herrin threw a pair of touchdowns in the final 2:19, helping Terre Haute South rally for a 28-24 victory over rival Terre Haute North. Herrin was 26-of-35 for 267 yards, including the game-winning 13-yard strike to Jacob Johnson with 34.3 seconds remaining to claim the Victory Bell. Logan Deady added nine rushes for 115 yards and a 78-yard touchdown run, and Johnathan Rogers caught 11 passes for 99 yards for the Braves. Chris Barrett II passed for 175 yards and ran for a score, and Jordan Moothery hauled in three passes for 101 yards for the Patriots.

Tyler Scott completed 13-of-21 passes for 235 yards and one touchdown in Greencastle's 35-6 win over West Vigo. Seth Brown had a 150 receiving yards and one score, and Alec Pettit had 91 yards rushing and three touchdowns for the Tiger Cubs.

Riverton Parke ended a 24-game losing skid with a 30-12 decision over Union (Dugger). It was the first coaching victory for Panthers' skipper Jason Wilburn.

Colton Kimm tossed for 235 yards and two touchdowns in Floyd Central's 60-34 thrashing of Providence.

Brooks Howell threw for 205 yards and three scores in Silver Creek's 21-20 setback to Salem.

Clay Brown was 17-of-27 through the air for 195 yards and three touchdowns as Brownstown Central rallied for a 40-26 win over Charlestown. Jacob Wilson had a pair of touchdown catches for the Braves, who tallied 27 unanswered points in the opening period. Darren Taylor ran for a score and caught a pass for another touchdown for the Pirates.

Tuwan Payton had 30 rushes for 178 yards in New Albany's 14-7 loss to Castle.

Austin Hines rambled for 152 yards and four scores as Jeffersonville cruised to a 61-7 triumph over Seymour. Jamal Britt passed for 152 yards and two scores for the Red Devils, who opened up 47-0 halftime cushion.

Lannis Buck ran for three touchdowns and passed for a fourth score in Corydon Central's 40-6 win against North Harrison.

Trent Black ran 23 times for 207 yards and two touchdowns, leading Greensburg to a 32-13 decision over Jennings County. Andy Meadows added two scores on the ground for the Pirates. Conner Byram tossed for 120 yards and two touchdown passes to Nick Nixon for Jennings County.

Drew Bellus had 139 total yards, good for three touchdowns,  in Western's 24-11 win over Eastbrook. With the setback, Eastbrook is now 0-2 for the first time since 2000.

Andrew Barros tossed for 172 yards and two touchdowns as Hobart rallied for 27-21 overtime win over LaPorte. Nicholas Bokun had seven catches for 95 yards and two scores for the Brickies, who trailed 21-7. Charles Salary rushed for 120 yards and two scores for the Slicers.

Steven McBride and Michael Richardson combined for more than 200 yards of rushing in Peru's 45-14 win over Logansport in the 111th meeting between the schools. McBride had 27 carries for 125 and Richardson added 87 yards on eight attempts as the Bengal Tigers improved to 2-0 for the first time since 1994.

Blake Dailey accumulated 234 yards rushing and three touchdown on 27 attempts as Mississinewa rolled to a 42-9 win over Maconaquah. Montana Waddling added five rushes for 59 yards and three catches for 54 yards and another tally for the Indians.

Michael Plummer racked up 120 yards and four touchdowns in Northwestern's 40-6 victory against North Miami. Keegan Fessenden added two scores for the Tigers in the shorten contest because of the weather.

Austin Bates capped off a 97-yard drive with a three-yard scoring run with 1:12 remaining, helping Eastern (Greentown) rally for a 26-22 win over Madison-Grant. Bates also threw for 295 yards and two scores for the Comets. Cameron Myers had 22 carries for 152 yards rushing and one touchdown, and Luke Stroup added 21 rushes for 121 yards and two scores for the Argylls.

Colton Painter scored twice in Fort Wayne Snider's 38-6 win over F.W. South. After the game, Snider athletic director and former coach Russ Isaacs confirmned he would retire at the end of the 2013-14 school year.

A sprained wrist didn't prevent Cole Gerardot from hauling in five passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns in Heritage's 32-26 win over Norwell. Branson Dossen passed for 254 yards and four scores, and Justyn Hart ran 21 times for 110 yards for the Patriots. Piercen Harnish had 143 yards on the ground and two touchdowns on 15 attempts and passed for 78 yards and one score for Norwell. Reid Jutte chipped in 14 rushes for 127 yards and one score for the Knights.

Logan Ormsby completed 13-of-19 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns, helping Homestead post a 21-10 win over Valparaiso. Ben Skowronek had four catches for 126 yards and one touchdown, and John Lark added two receptions for scores for the Spartans, who have won 26 straight regular season games. David Hittinger ran for 132 yards and passed for one score for the Vikings.

Drue Tranquill carried the football 10 times for 163 yards and three touchdowns as Carroll (Fort Wayne) raced to a 41-6 win over Huntington North. Chandler Boggs added 117 yards passing for the Chargers.

Nate Deno tallied 206 yards and two scores on 18 carries, helping McCutcheon roll to a 30-6 win over Zionsville. Blake Elmin ran for 74 yards and caught a 77-yard touchdown pass from Jami Frier, and Jake Shake  connected on three field goals (20, 20, and 32 yards) for the Mavericks. Josh Hinkle threw for 105 yards and ran for 93 yards and a score for the Eagles.

Adrian Springer and Cody Conwell had two touchdowns apiece in Churubusco's 42-6 win against Central Noble. Hayden Kilgore passed for two scores, and Garren Deck ran for 100 yards and one tally for the Eagles.

Keion Powers and Deion Powers scored two touchdowns each, helping Fort Wayne Wayne roll to a 39-15 win over Kokomo. Jalen Thomas added two scoring throws for the Generals, who are 2-0 for the first time since 1998. Tayler Persons paced Kokomo with 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Quarterback Tyler Souligne accounted for more than 200 total yards and six touchdowns in Benton Central's 47-9 win over Seeger. Souligne ran nine times for 155 yards and three scores and passed for 74 yards and three tallies. Gunther Balenseifer caught two touchdown passes, and Nick Fischbach recorded 10.5 tackles for the Bison.

Chris Clemmons paced a balanced attack with 19 carries for 175 yards and two scores in Pendleton Heights' 34-12 win over Anderson. Noah Etchison added 12 rushes for 115 yards and one score for the Arabians. Tyler Welch had 190 yards and one touchdown on 21 attempts, and Gavin Owens tossed for 145 yards and one score for Anderson.

T.C. McKierman completed 13-of-22 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown, helping Noblesville to a 26-6 win over Brownsburg.  McKierman added 14 rushes for 104 yards, and Ben Rice booted four field goals (32, 20, 20, and 42 yards) for the Millers. Toks Akinribade ran 18 times for 110 yards and one score for Brownsburg.

Jake Hendershot had a hand in three touchdowns in Tr-West's 22-7 win over South Putnam. Hendershot passed for 191 yards (12-of-19) and one score and ran 11 times for 88 yards and two more tallies for the Bruins.

Tyler Redfern threw for 140 yards and two touchdown passes to Kenny Jones, leading Lawrence Central to a 34-31 win against North Central (Indianapolis). Mark Wilson chipped in 14 carries for 129 yards and one score for the Bears. Michael Loggan tossed for 177 yards, and Demond Roberson ran for 87 yards and two scores for the Panthers.

Tanner Love threw a pair of touchdown passes as Northridge cruised to a 31-13 win over S.B. Riley in a contest that featured three weather delays. Thomas Capers had 18 carries for 113 yards and one tally for Riley.

Lane Morris and Max Morris scored two touchdowns apiece, leading Center Grove to a 56-0 thrashing of Whiteland. Luke Calvert added three scoring passes for the Trojans, who held Whiteland to 124 total yards.

Frank Grimes netted 161 yards of offense, leading Westfield to a 17-15 win over Avon. Nick Ferrer added 160 yards through the air for the Shamrocks, who are 3-0 for the first time since 2009.

Blake Luker went 17-of-23 for 223 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score in New Palestine's 46-2 pasting of Richmond. Tyler Walden added 10 catches for 103 yards and one score and ran for another tally, and Gabe Estes chipped in two touchdowns for the Dragons.

Alex Cowan and Markell Jones both went over the 100-yard mark in rushing and scored two touchdowns in Columbus East's 48-13 thrashing of Columbus North. Cowan had 12 rushes for 179 yards and Jones added 104 yards on 10 attempts.

Austin Montgomery rambled for 108 yards and two touchdowns, leading Greenwood to a 33-28 win over Indian Creek. John Gallman chipped in 123 yards rushing and one score for the Woodmen. Nic Brown tallied two scores for Indian Creek.

Grant Weatherford caught seven passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns, leading Hamilton Heights to a 46-6 win over Sheridan. Monte Reed finished 11-of-17 for 253 yards and three scores, and Conner Faulkner added 22 carries for 91 yards and one tally for the Huskies. Austin Hoover ran 32 times for 130 yards and returned a kickoff 98 yards for a score for the Blackhawks.

Cade Jones passed for 198 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score in Delta's 42-40 win over F.W. North. Jalen Robinson had six catches for 142 yards and two scores for the Eagles. Mike Lovett completed 19-of-23 passes for 342 yards and four touchdowns and ran 12 times for 163 yards and two scores for the Redskins. Zach McKinstry chipped in nine catches for 177 yards and one tally for F.W. North.

Brandon Mable accumulated over 100 total yards and four touchdowns in East Noble's 49-14 thrashing of Warsaw. Mable ran 16 times for 93 yards and two scores, caught four passes for 22 yards, and recovered two fumbles for two more tallies. Bryce Wolfe threw for 199 yards and two touchdown passes, and Grey Fox hauled in seven passes for 129 yards and two scores for the Knights.

Jaden Rhea ran 24 times for 248 yards and two touchdowns, helping Monrovia hold on for a 36-28 win over Cascade. Trevor Ellis added 168 yards and two scores on 13 attempts for the Bulldogs. Sawyer Donovan passed for 212 yards and two touchdowns, and Zach Batts added two catches for 103 yards and one tally for Cascade.

Bryit Sumner had 20 carries for 100 yards and three scores in Garrett's 34-0 shutout over DeKalb. The Railroaders limited DeKalb to 87 total yards.

Cameron Gurtner ran for a pair of touchdowns as LaVille racked up more than 300 yards rushing on its way to a 45-12 win over Trinity Lutheran.

Jake Jatis tossed for 237 yards and two touchdown passes and ran for a third score in Crown Point's 30-7 win over Mishawaka.

Ariest Vasquez ran for 172 yards and three touchdowns as New Haven rolled to 49-21 win over Woodlan. Vance Shearer threw for 177 yards and three scores, and Jordan Hogue added 92 yards receiving and two tallies for the Bulldogs. Jaylin Bennett rushed for 102 yards and one score for Woodlan.

Logan Leiter rushed for 140 yards and one score in Leo's 44-0 blanking of Angola.

Ryan Washington passed for 155 yards and two touchdowns, leading Michigan City to a 57-14 win over S.B. Washington. Washington also ran for four scores, and Logan Kaletha added three catches for 113 yards and two tallies for the Wolves.

Mike Fiacable threw two touchdown passes to Ryan Wattercutter, helping F.W. Bishop Dwenger post a 34-10 win over F.W. Concordia Lutheran. Tyler Tippmann added two rushing scores for the Saints.

D'Wayne Eskridge accounted for 229 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in Bluffton's 55-19 pasting of Manchester.

Preston Hansel passed for two touchdowns and ran for two scores, helping Culver register a 32-21 win over South Central. Trent Elliott added two scores for the Cavaliers.

Eli Isom scored three touchdowns as Rensselaer downed North Newton, 56-20, for its 20th straight win in the series.

Matt Holl tallied a pair of touchdowns in Highland's 20-13 win against Hammond. Ian Hardy added 112 yards rushing and one score for the Trojans, who are 2-0 for the first time since 2003.

Justin Green and Ryan Dunlap scored two touchdowns each, helping Griffith roll to a 43-6 win over Wheeler.

Jaylen White and Parker Phelps both rushed for more than 100 yards and scored three touchdowns, helping Muncie Central register a 45-32 win over rival Muncie South. White had 21 carries for 137 yards and Phelps added 121 yards on 14 attempts, including a 100-yard interception return. Josh Strauch threw for 218 yards and four scores and ran for 177 yards for South.

Chandler Carroll found the end zone four times in Yorktown's 67-0 shutout of Indianapolis Northwest. Jacob Wagner added three scores for the Tigers.

Trevor Spencer ran 19 times for 210 yards and five touchdowns, helping Wes-Del to a 32-0 victory over Cambridge City Lincoln. It was the first win for new Wes-Del coach Brad Hess.

Chandler Hale ran the football nine times for 174 yards in Shenandoah's 53-13 thrashing of Southern Wells. Lane Young added 113 yards rushing on 13 carries, and Adam Lovan completed all five of his passes for 97 yards for the Raiders.

Marcus Drummer rushed for 140 yards, helping Monroe Central post a 21-6 win over Anderson Prep. De'Andre Patterson recorded 11.5 tackles and a touchdown, while Robert Glazebrooks tallied 11 tackles for Anderson Prep.

Jake Purichia was 11-of-16 for 234 yards and four touchdowns in Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's 38-6 win over Indianapolis Lutheran. For his career, Purichia has thrown for 7,825 yards, which ranks him 19th all-time in Indiana, and 102 touchdowns. Jake Hagan hauled in four passes for 101 yards and two scores for the Raiders. Jake Reid tossed for 147 yards and one score for Lutheran.

Malik Higgins ran eight times for 165 yards and two touchdowns, helping Evansville Reitz to a 28-16 win over Paducah (Ky.). DeWayne Esters added 17 rushes for 166 yards and one score, and Austin Reagan threw for 167 yards and one tally for the Panthers.

Jordan Scheeessele passed for 160 yards and a touchdown in Evansville Memorial's 31-10 Belleville West (Ill.). Kelsey Coslett registered 12 tackles for the Tigers.

Jon Dafcik accounted for more than 450 total yards and five touchdowns, leading South Newton to a 33-31 win over Frontier. Dafcik was 17-of-24 passing for 253 yards and two scores and ran 32 times for 223 yards and three tallies. Austin Davis recorded 11 tackles for the Rebels. Tyler Wireman tossed a pair of scores to Hunter McCracken to pace the Falcons.

Jonah Thacker had 17 carries for 120 yards and three touchdowns in Triton Central's 27-10 win over Heritage Christian. Jackson Heath passed for 185 yards to pace Heritage Christian.

Brady Nichols was 8-of-13 through the air for 213 yards and three touchdowns as Plainfield rolled to a 55-16 win over Danville. Josh Miller ran for a touchdown, caught a pass for another tally, and returned an interception for a third score, and Garrett Patton had a pair of scoring catches for the Quakers. Autry Pickens had 159 yards rushing and a touchdown for Danville.

Robbie Stevens rolled up 253 total yards and three touchdowns in Beech Grove's 54-6 thrashing of Park Tudor. Stevens threw for 116 yards and two scores and ran eight times for 137 yards and another tally. Ryan Ward added two touchdown scampers for the Hornets.

Mason Kutruff completed 27-of-37 passes for 281 yards and five touchdowns as Martinsville cruised to a 60-14 win over Bloomington South. Trey Deaton caught seven passes for 104 yards and one score, Dallas Fortner added two touchdown receptions, and Zak Miranda ran 11 times for 95 yards and two scores for the Artesians. Caleb Stancomb threw for 102 yards and two scores, and Tabin Breedlove had 18 rushes for 144 yards for the Panthers.

Pete Wagner ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns, leading Mount Vernon (Fortville) to a 44-20 win over Marion. Alec Loman added two scores for the Marauders, and Jaylen Smith scored twice for Marion.

Jon Horvath and Tyler Gillespie ran for two touchdowns apiece in Chesterton's 35-14 win over Munster in contest delayed by weather until Labor Day. Cole Teal passed for 120 yards and ran for 70 yards and one score for the Trojans.
