2019 Colts Free Agent Spotlight: Najee Goode

INDIANAPOLIS — With the NFL’s new league year starting at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Colts.com takes a look at the Indianapolis Colts players set to become free agents, continuing today with unrestricted free agent-to-be Najee Goode.

Player: Najee Goode, 29 (will be 30 by Week 1)

Position: Linebacker

Experience: Entering eighth NFL season in 2019

Free Agency Category: Unrestricted (“A player whose contract has expired and has four or more tenured years in the league. He may sign with any other team with no restrictions.”)

2018 Synopsis: In 2018, Goode appeared in 16 games and had six tackles (two solo) with one interception (the first of his career), one pass defensed and a team-best 10 special teams stops. His blocked punt in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs was recovered in the end zone by Zach Pascal for the Colts’ first score of the game.
