NFL Initiative - Hispanic Heritage Month
The Indianapolis Colts will join the NFL in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month presented by Morales Group Staffing, which runs September 15-October 15. As a part of this celebration, the Colts will present the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award to Dr. Juan “Kiko” Suarez, chief community impact officer with the United Way of Central Indiana during Sunday’s game.

ON FIELD PRESENTATIONS
The Indianapolis Colts will honor Edwin Jackson, the former Colts linebacker who lost his life this past February 4 in a traffic accident in Indianapolis. All Colts players will wear an “EJ” helmet decal, while coaches and staff will wear an “EJ” lapel pin. Also before the game, the team will present Jackson’s family, who will be in attendance, with a $25,000 donation to the Edwin Jackson 53 Foundation, which was established earlier this year to celebrate Jackson’s life and accomplishments. The team also will honor Jackson with a video tribute and in a special edition of The Scout, the team’s gameday publication.

SALVATION ARMY COAT COLLECTION
Prior to the Colts vs. Texans game on Sunday, September 30, the Colts will team up with the Salvation Army to host a Children’s Coat Collection Drive. Fans are encouraged to drop off new or gently used children’s winter coats from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at any of the Colts Community Collection Stations, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate. All donations will benefit the Salvation Army to help keep children in Central Indiana warm during the cold winter months. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
