INDIANAPOLIS — The accolades keep pouring in for T.Y. Hilton and Pat McAfee.

The Indianapolis Colts duo had already been selected to play in the Pro Bowl and named to Pro Football Focus’ 2016 All-Pro Team, but on Monday, they were also named to the Pro Football Writers of America's All-AFC Team.

It's both Hilton and McAfee's first PFWA selections of their careers.

Hilton, who earned his third consecutive Pro Bowl selection in 2016, recorded his fourth straight 1,000-yard receiving season and finished with single-season career highs in receptions (91), receiving yards (1,448) and scrimmage yards (1,448).

He led the NFL in receiving yards, becoming the first Colt to do that since Reggie Wayne in 2007, and marking the eighth time in team history that a Colts played led the league in receiving yards (four times in Indianapolis, four times in Baltimore). Hilton also led the league with 16 25-plus-yard receptions, as he continued to establish himself as one of the top deep threats in the NFL.

Hilton in 2016 topped the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the fourth straight season, and is only the third player in franchise history to post four or more career 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne (eight seasons) have done it more.

Hilton is also continuing to build quite the career thus far, as his 5,861 receiving yards are the ninth-most among players in their first five seasons. Seven of the others on that Top-10 list were first-round draft selections — Hilton was a third-round selection in 2012.

McAfee, meanwhile, was selected to his second Pro Bowl in 2016, though he recently announced he will forego playing in the game due to a procedure being performed on his knee.

This past season, McAfee totaled 55 punts for 2,711 yards, averaging an NFL-best 49.3 yards per punt, which is the best average in franchise history. His 42.7 net punting average was third in the league.

Of McAfee's kicks, 19 were pinned inside the 20-yard line, and he had a career-best 74-yard booming punt in 2016. He also continued to establish himself as one of the top kickoff specialists in the league, as he had 49 kickoff touchbacks throughout the year.

As if that wasn't enough, McAfee also completed a fake punt pass, the first of his career, during the Colts' Week 12 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and also had one successful onside kick recovery.
