Meet Allie: Cheerleader of the Week

Hi Colts fans! What a thrill to be representing the best roster in the NFL!

I'm Allie, and I'm asking you, our incredible 12th man, to once again, be loud, be strong and be united because our road to the 2016 Superbowl begins this week!  This is my 5thseason on this squad of beautiful, talented ladies and I've never been more excited!  I'm often asked what I like best about cheerleading and my answer is always the same – it's the fact that I get to wear a horseshoe on my uniform!

This year we've already traveled abroad on military tours, deepened our relationships with Downs Syndrome Indiana, held dance camps, performed at the NFL draft, done countless appearances, hospital visits and fund-raisers and most importantly met so many of YOU, our incredible fans!  I wish to offer my extreme gratitude to the Colts organization for allowing me 5 years of life-changing opportunities and I am grateful to have shared this dream with my wonderful family and my boyfriend Brad who bleed blue with all of you!  I, along with my teammates, am honored to be part of this year's campaign… One Team, One Family, One Goal!   Gooooooooo Colts!

Do you have a pregame ritual that you do before you get on the field?
I have a pregame ritual where I hold my poms up to my mouth and with one breath I scream into them as LOUD and as LONG as I can! I didn't do it my first year when I was a rookie and we only won two games… just saying!

I absolutely love…
I absolutely love football; football games, football season, football weather, football fans, football tailgating, fantasy football, throwing a football,  football food, and my boyfriend. How did you spend your Labor Day weekend?
We're doing fitness testing on Tuesday at practice so my Labor Day weekend was spent doing drills with my teammate Cassia, and riding my bike around Broad Ripple. I should have been out in my boat… oh wait, I don't have a boat! What is your most memorable game day memory?
It's so hard to choose my greatest memory because with each season comes experiences that somehow surpass the previous year's, like playing for the AFC South Championship last year - it just keeps getting better! SuperBowl here we come!   However, singing the National Anthem at a home game with two of my teammates is one of those that will be hard to top!
