After being diagnosed with kidney failure, Kayson spent six months receiving dialysis treatments before receiving a life-changing transplant. After the transplant, Kayson has had many hospital stays and received several biopsies due to elevated levels from the transplant. Kayson continues to have regular check-ups with his doctors to monitor his labs and is a very active boy who loves to try new sports. Kayson brings light to everyone in the room with his contagious smile and personality.

Treyvon was rushed to the Emergency Room after being hit by a vehicle. He remained awake, alert, and showed remarkable courage. After head surgery and 98 stitches, Treyvon began to look like the boy his family recognized again. Though he missed four weeks of school, he never complained, smiling through it all. Now, the scar makes him the coolest kid in school, and he has a courageous story to share.

Jacavien was born with a congenital heart defect that restricts blood flow to his lungs, causing asthma and sleep apnea. After a successful surgery, Jacavien now breathes with ease and enjoys his love for baseball. Last season, Jacavien hit his first home run!

Dwayne spent 119 days in the hospital overcoming pneumonia and respiratory distress, including 39 days on life support. With additional help from rehab therapy, Dwayne has fully recovered and is an energetic, fun-loving boy who enjoys all sports.

Sickle Cell Disease

Kaleb was diagnosed with sickle cell disease, a blood disorder causing pain, organ damage, respiratory distress and fatigue. Thanks to multiple successful surgeries and procedures, Kaleb now shines bright every time he steps on the soccer field. His infectious personality proves that being a hero is not about being free from struggle, it is about how to face struggle with courage, hope, and unshakeable determination to keep moving forward.
August 16th - Colts vs. Packers

Madeline was born at 30 weeks with a rare skeletal disorder and spent 87 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She has overcome many craniofacial anomaly surgeries to lengthen her jaw and overcome breathing complications. Today, Madeline has a special diet that supports her nutrition and continued growth, allowing her to pursue her love for arts and crafts, gymnastics and swimming.

Elijah was born with a rare connective tissue and blood-clotting disorder that affects collagen, weakens blood vessels and increases bleeding risks. Since graduating from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Elijah has undergone multiple complex surgeries to repair a cleft lip and palate. He's now preparing for extensive treatment to build a stable foundation for teeth, prevent jaw collapse, improve nasal aesthetics and aid speech. Elijah will continue to have surgeries on his skull and face while he grows. Through it all, Elijah continues to live life to the fullest, spending his time playing soccer, shooting hoops in basketball, and boating.

Ellie, Leo & Emersyn are triplets born at 30 weeks' gestation. Ellie & Leo were first diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, resulting in tethered spinal cords and the need for spine surgery. Their condition can cause lack of coordination, balance and sleep apnea. Ellie & Leo had surgery on the same day and recovered together in the PICU. While in recovery, Colts players & Cheer stopped by to sing Christmas Carols. Emersyn was diagnosed a year later and is in recovery. The surgery was life-changing for the three. Leo loves to play soccer and build Legos, Ellie enjoys softball and dressing up, and Emersyn loves the outdoors and Barbies.

Vascular Ring & Chiari Malformation

As a baby, Emma was diagnosed with a rare heart condition called Vascular Ring and had her first heart surgery. Emma also has Chiari Malformation, a structural defect where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, causing a tethered spinal cord. Today, Emma celebrates her recent successful brain and spine surgery! Through it all, her courage, kindness, and sparkle never faded. She is back to volunteering in the community and dreaming of becoming an actress or singer.

Congential Heart Disease and Congenital Deafness

Ridge and Waylon share a unique brotherly bond. They were born with a rare genetic disorder that impacts heart rhythm and results in congenital deafness and irregular heartbeat. Waylon received a pacemaker at 17 days old, which helped him to survive cardiac arrest five times. Ridge received his pacemaker at 4 weeks old. Both boys enjoy being outside. Ridge especially enjoys playing in the rain and planting the family garden, while Waylon likes to golf.
August 16th - Colts vs. Packers

Head Trauma Survivor

Mikal spent several months in the Intensive Care Unit following a car crash, which resulted in severe head trauma and neurostorming. Mikal's brain procedure included a bolt placement to manage brain pressure. Thanks to his successful surgery, hard work and months of continuing rehab therapy, Mikal is rebuilding his strength to walk, talk and return to a full day of school and supporting his football team.

Brain Hemorrhage & Brain Tumor Survivor

Elsa faced a life-threatening brain hemorrhage and was flown by StatFlight helicopter for emergency surgery. After her first surgery to remove a blood clot in her brain and a second surgery to remove a brain tumor, Elsa began a remarkable journey of recovery. She has successfully regained her neurologic functions to enjoy reading, drawing and listening to music.
