Mental health is health. A new research institute at Indiana University, made possible by a $3 million donation from the Jim Irsay family, has formally launched its mission to become a leading national center for addressing the stigma surrounding mental illness and other health issues such as HIV, epilepsy, cancer, dementia and addiction.

Black History Month: Book Fair at Ralph Waldo Emerson School #58
The Indianapolis Colts celebrated Black History Month by hosting a book fair at Ralph Waldo Emerson School #58. Colts team mascot Blue, members of the Colts Cheerleaders, and Colts staff were on hand for individual reading time and to assist kids with "shopping" time where each student had the opportunity to select two books, free of charge.
Thank You Dream New Year's Trip
Colts fans, heartfelt stories, a New Year's trip to The Big Apple, and a memory for a lifetime!
Owner & CEO Jim Irsay surprised a group of Colts fans with a trip to New York for the team's New Year's Day matchup with the Giants. The trip included air travel on the Irsay private jet, hotel accommodations, meals, ground transportation, and tickets to the game.
2022 Inspire Change Changemaker: Dennis Bland
Dennis Bland, president of the Center for Leadership Development (CLD) in Indianapolis, has been named by the Colts as its recipient of the inaugural 2022 Inspire Change Changemaker Award.
The league's newly established award recognizes individuals who are making a difference in their communities through social justice work across each of the NFL's 32 club markets.

Books for Youth Backpack Distribution
The Indianapolis Colts, including Colts General Manager Chris Ballard and his family, and Indianapolis-based Cargo Services, Inc., hosted a Books for Youth backpack distribution where more than 30 Indiana kids in foster care received the gift of reading.
The Books for Youth initiative provides 25 age-appropriate books in backpacks to Indiana youth in foster care. The statewide program, sponsored by Cargo Services for the past 16 years, has collected nearly 900,000 books and distributed close to 9,000 backpacks to children in foster care.
Christmas Caroling at Riley Hospital for Children
Colts Players and Cheerleaders spent the day making spirits bright by bringing holiday music, gifts, and cheer to patients at Riley Hospital for Children as part of their annual caroling visits at the hospital.
2022 Meijer Shop With A Colt
With the support of Meijer and the Indianapolis Colts, 20 youth from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana had the opportunity to shop with the 2022 Indianapolis Colts Rookie Class to purchase toys, clothes, and other items needed around holiday time.

Matt Taylor and Larra Overton sit with Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard who is the Colts' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide. Considered one of the league's most prestigious honors, an NFL player is recognized for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field. Leonard discusses his community service in Indianapolis and his hometown of Lake View, South Carolina.

Colts defensive end Yannick Ngakoue reveals the story behind his cause for My Cause My Cleats. Yannick will wear cleats supporting Coburn Place, a safe haven housing choice for survivors of domestic violence and their children in the Greater Indianapolis area.
Ben Banogu & Julian Blackmon: My Cause My Cleats
In celebration of My Cause My Cleats, Colts defensive end Ben Banogu and safety Julian Blackmon will wear Kicking The Stigma cleats in an effort to spotlight mental health awareness and help remove the stigma associated with mental health disorders and illnesses.
Colts Community: 2022 Horseshoe Helpings
This year, the Indianapolis Colts, US Foods, Citizens Energy Group, Hensley Legal Group, Lucas Oil Products, Meijer, and UPS teamed up to distribute Thanksgiving meals to 2,000 Indianapolis families in need. During the event, Colts players and Cheerleaders alongside local volunteers helped pack and distribute food through both drive-thru and walk-up stations at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Tenth Annual Habitat for Humanity Panel Build
The Indianapolis Colts sponsored the 10th annual Habitat for Humanity Panel Build with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity. More than 100 volunteers from the Colts and Lucas Oil teamed up to help construct the home, providing a local family a fresh start toward a better life as first-time homeowners.
Kicking the Stigma: Find Your Anchor Event
As a part of Mental Awareness Month, the Irsay Family along with Indianapolis Colts players, coaches, and office staff took part in a Find Your Anchor Boxing Event. The group assembled 300 care boxes for the grassroots movement charity aimed at suicide prevention, awareness and education.
