COLLEGE:
Appeared in 43 career games (37 starts) at Notre Dame (2024) and Duke (2021-23) and completed 651-of-1,021 passes for 7,311 yards with 45 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. Also totaled 413 carries for 2,130 yards (5.2 avg.) and 36 touchdowns.
As a team captain in 2024, started all 16 games and completed 269-of-403 passes for 2,861 yards with 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Added 184 carries for 906 yards (4.9 avg.) and 17 touchdowns.
As a team captain in 2023, started first seven games of the season and completed 95-of-165 passes for 1,102 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. Also tallied 58 carries for 352 yards (6.1 avg.) and four touchdowns. He was named Academic All-ACC selection.

As a true freshman in 2021, saw action in seven games (one start) and completed 37-of-62 passes for 381 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Also had 47 carries for 173 yards (3.7 avg.) and two touchdowns.

OHIO STATE (1/20): Started at quarterback, completed 22 of 31 passes for a season-best 255 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, posted 17 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, had 295 yards of combined offense, added an unofficial pass to convert a two-point conversion in the third quarter.

Named the Class 7A Player of the Year and the com Coastal Player of the Year after leading the Pirates to a 27-2 record.

Son of Chad and Heather Leonard. Father played basketball at The Citadel (1992-95), where he finished his career with 137 steals (second-most in program history).
His uncle, Michael Sabol, played basketball at Georgetown University (1990-91).
At Duke, he majored in public policy while pursuing a certificate in markets and management.
