• Signed to the Colts practice squad on December 21, 2021.
• Waived by the Detroit Lions on November 30, 2021.
• Selected by the Lions in the fourth round (114th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft.

2021 (LIONS/COLTS):

• Appeared in three games and tallied two tackles (one solo) and one pass defensed.

2020 (LIONS):

• Competed in 10 games (one start) and registered 19 tackles (12 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and one forced fumble.

2019 (LIONS):

• Saw action in three games (two starts) and compiled six tackles (four solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and one pass defensed.

2018 (LIONS):

• Competed in 13 games (eight starts) and recorded single-season career highs in tackles (27), solo tackles (22), tackles for loss (4.0), forced fumbles (two) and fumble recoveries (one). His 2.0 sacks were the most by a Lions rookie since Ezekiel Ansah in 2013 (8.0).

COLLEGE:

• Appeared in 50 games (nine starts) at Alabama (2014-17) and compiled 71 tackles (30 solo), 10.0 sacks, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He saw action in three consecutive College Football Playoff National Championships (2015-17) and won two titles with the Crimson Tide (2015, 2017).
• In 2017, he earned Second Team All-SEC honors after he saw action in 11 games (nine starts) and tallied 27 tackles (nine solo), 3.0 sacks, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.
• As a junior, he competed in 15 games and recorded 21 tackles (10 solo), 2.0 sacks and one forced fumble.
• In 2015, he appeared in 15 games and accumulated 16 tackles (seven solo) and 3.0 sacks.
• As a freshman, he saw action in nine games and registered seven tackles (four solo) and 2.0 sacks.

PERSONAL:

• Attended Woodbridge (Va.) High School.
• Rated the top player in the state of Virginia.
• Named an all-state selection as a junior and senior as well as a First Team USA Today All-America selection.
• Tallied 56.0 total sacks during his high school career.
• Also was a state champion wrestler.
