INDIANAPOLIS — Defensive tackle Trevon Coley, who played in seven games with the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 but wasn't tendered as a restricted free agent this offseason, has signed a free agent deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

Coley, 25, was signed to the Colts' active roster from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad last Oct. 1, and finished the year with six total tackles.

In three seasons with the Cleveland Browns and Colts, Coley has played in 38 total games with 29 starts, and has 86 total tackles (11 for a loss) with 2.5 sacks, five quarterback hits, two passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.

The Colts have been busy adding talent at the defensive tackle position this offseason. First, they acquired All-Pro DeForest Buckner from the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for Indy's first-round (13th-overall) pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Then the team signed free agent defensive tackle Sheldon Day, also formerly of the 49ers.

The team now has plenty of depth at defensive tackle on its offseason roster, including Day, Buckner, Denico Autry, Tyquan Lewis and Grover Stewart.
