2024 SEASON (COLTS):
In 2024, he started all 17 games and recorded single-season career-highs in tackles (100), solo tackles (66), tackles for loss (3.0), passes defensed (12), interceptions (two) and forced fumbles (one). In Week 1 vs. HOU, he registered nine tackles (seven solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and one pass defensed. In Week 3 vs. CHI, he was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after he tallied five tackles (four solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, two passes defensed and two interceptions. It marked his first two career interceptions. In Week 5 at JAX, he compiled six tackles (five solo), two passes defensed and his first career forced fumble. In Week 11 at NYJ, he tallied five tackles (three solo) and two passes defensed. He tied his single-game career-high in passes defensed.
2023 SEASON (COLTS):
He appeared in all 17 games (10 starts) in 2023 and tallied 43 tackles (32 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, five passes defensed and one special teams stop. In Week 5 vs. TEN, he made his first career start and collected two tackles (one solo). In Week 9 at CAR, he totaled five solo tackles and one pass defensed. In Week 13 at TEN, he registered a career-high seven tackles (six solo) and one pass defensed.
COLLEGE:
Started all 32 games he saw action in at Texas A&M (2020-22) and totaled 98 tackles (72 solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, 17 passes defensed, three interceptions and one fumble recovery. Two-time Aggie Team Defense Attitude Award winner (2021-22).
In 2022, he started all 10 games he appeared in and tallied 33 tackles (27 solo), two passes defensed and one fumble recovery. Named the team's Aggie Team Defense Attitude Award winner. Against Alabama, he compiled three solo tackles and one fumble recovery. In the season opener against Miami (FL), he registered a season-high nine tackles (eight solo) and one pass defensed.
As a sophomore in 2021, he started all 12 games and recorded 35 tackles (23 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, eight passes defensed and a team-high two interceptions. Selected as the team's Aggie Team Defense Attitude Award winner. Registered two passes defensed and an interception in a win against No. 12 Auburn. In a win against No. 1 Alabama, he tallied five tackles (two solo).
In 2020, he started all 10 games he saw action in and accumulated 30 tackles (22 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, seven passes defensed and one interception. Led the team in passes defensed. In his first start, he finished with six tackles in a win against Vanderbilt. In a win against South Carolina, he tallied two passes defensed.
PERSONAL:
Attended Steele High School and was coached by David Saenz.
Named an Under Armour All-America choice.
Rated the No. 2 recruit in Texas and was the No. 1 safety in the nation in the 2020 class.
As a senior, he played both ways and was a Second Team All-State honoree after he finished with 34 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles while also adding 30 receptions for 549 yards and five touchdowns.
Earned First Team All-District honors as a junior after he tallied 36 tackles, seven passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Also lettered in track and was part of a 4x200 relay team that made it to the state championships in 2019.
In 2023, he volunteered at Gleaners Food Bank as part of a Colts community initiative.
Participated in the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative and represented Mental Health & Wealth (2023).
His father, Virgil, served in the Navy and his mother, Alisha, is a Navy veteran as well.
