MY INDIANA FOOTBALL: MT. VERNON VS. RUSHVILLE

On Saturday, the Colts hosted their annual 7-ON-7 Tournament, inviting the top 16 high school football programs in the state to compete in a pre-season tournament. Brownsburg High School defeated Westfield in the finals, marking their third-straight tournament championship.

The Colts Sunday Night 7-ON-7 Series returned for the 2025 offseason! High school boys tackle and girls flag athletes participated in skill development drills and competitions to get better for the Fall 2025 season!

The tournament featured 16 high school squads participating in 7-on-7 pool play and a single-elimination tournament for a chance to earn funding to support their football program. The linemen also competed in individual drills, head-to-head competition, and a 'tug of war' final.

During the Colts vs. Saints game, Ben Davis and Shortridge High School competed in a High School Girls Flag Football Scrimmage. Both teams were participants of the Colts High School Girls Flag Football Pilot League.

Colts hosted the inaugural Unified Flag Classic, a joint event in efforts between the Colts, Special Olympics Indiana, and the Indiana High School Athletic Association, that invited student-athletes with and without disabilities to participate together in flag football games.

The Colts hosted the initial kickoff of the InsideOut Initiative in Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium. The partnership aims to help transform the current "win-at-all-costs" culture in high school sports.
