COACHES COMMENTS: "If the Trojans want to have success this week, we must figure how to play such a great team with so many injuries. Our injuries have become one of our biggest concerns. We somehow have won the battles, but it might be causing us to lose the war. We have to figure out how to run the ball against, what I think might be the best defense I've seen. Our defense must get off the field. We can't let the Lawrence Central offense control the line of scrimmage. The Trojan defense must also not give up the big plays and make LC score on long, 12-play drives. Center Grove must continue to rarely have a turnover. First downs will be as important as touchdowns in this one." - Center Grove coach Eric Moore.

"We first have to stop the run first. That's easier said than done against a strong running team like Floyd (Central). They are more balanced this year than in years past though, and their quarterback (Colton Kimm) is one of the best I have seen in awhile. He is definitely accurate with his throws and we must put pressure on him off of play action. Defensively, they have changed their fronts and play a 4-3 and 5-2 looks. We must recognize what front they are in and coverage in order to execute our plays correctly. I expect a high- scoring game, and we look forward to continue to work on all areas of our game. Special team's area has been a focus this week, especially punt return and kickoff return. Hopefully, we will score or be able to set a score up with these units this week. Our intensity will not be lacking this week." – Jeffersonville coach Lonnie Oldham.

COACHES COMMENTS: "It is a big Delaware County rivalry game, and it should be an exciting atmosphere on Friday. Delta is a solid team that has played some pretty good opponents thus far in the season. They are battle-tested and come into the game with an experienced, veteran team. In order to win on Friday, Yorktown has to do the following. Offensively, we have to be able to control the line of scrimmage. Delta plays an aggressive 3-5 defense. If we can't account for the blitz, it will be difficult for our offense to get into a rhythm. We must take advantage of what Delta gives us and execute plays based on blocking to the whistle. Defensively, we have to stop Delta's playmakers. Out of the run-and-shoot, Delta has a very good and strong fullback in Joe Spegal that we must tackle. Delta also has one of the best receivers in the area in Jalen Robinson that we must always be aware of. Delta's quarterback Cade Jones is a playmaker. We must contain him and put pressure on him to make some difficult throws. In the special teams area, we must prevent the big play. Delta has a solid return team. We must do a better job of breaking down and making tackles. Delta comes after every punt and has scored at least two touchdowns this year on blocks. We must block solid upfront to give our kicker time to get the punt off." – Yorktown coach Mike Wilhelm.
"We will have to slow down their (Yorktown) offense that is averaging 55 points a game. We need to have ball control on offense and get scores." – Delta coach Grant Zgunda.
ZIONSVILLE (2-2) AT WESTFIELD (3-1)
