Postseason Snapshot
In a first for the state of Indiana, the 2025 Girls Flag Football Postseason Tournament marked the inaugural championship series since the sport's inception. Through qualifications, Sectional Tournaments, and the Girls Flag Championships, 60+ teams were able to participate in the inaugural tournament. As a result, Penn High School was crowned as theĀ 2025 High School Girls Flag Football State Champions for the state of Indiana.
Sectionals Snapshot
With over 60 teams participating in the inaugural postseason, 8 Sectional Tournaments were hosted at different high schools across the state. Schools were broken into 8 different regions of the state, and were matched up with their counterparts for this tournament. The winning programs from each of the 8 Sectionals qualified for the inaugural Girls Flag Championships, hosted by the Colts at Grand Park Sports Campus.
The 8 programs that won their respective Girls Flag Sectional Tournament qualified for the inaugural Girls Flag Championships on October 18th. Hosted at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, IN, teams then played single-elimination knockout-style gameplay. Penn High School was crowned as the 2025 High School Girls Flag Football State Champions. The Kingsmen defeated Lawrence North in the championship game, 35-12. Penn finishes the season 13-0, defeating Terre Haute South, Fort Wayne Snider and Lawrence North in the playoffs on the way to the state's inaugural championship.
