Joseph Addai hammers up middle for score

With the Colts offense struggling throughout the first half, they needed a play to get them going in the right direction. Cue Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez. The Colts were trailing 15-0 and facing third down from their own 24-yard line. Quarterback Peyton Manning found wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez deep on the left sideline where he hauled in the catch. He was able to evade defenders all the way to the Vikings 17-yard line, where in the process of being tackled, he found Reggie Wayne behind him for a lateral. Wayne took the ball all the way down to the Vikings one yard line before being tackled. After two unsuccessful Peyton Manning runs up the middle, running back Joseph Addai finally reached the endzone on third down to give the Colts their first points of the game leaving them only down 15-7.
