As if the Bengals day at Lucas Oil Stadium was taxing enough, Colts defensive back Kelvin Hayden put a further damper on the Bengals morale. Late in the fourth quarter, Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's pass was intercepted by Hayden. Hayden ran 85 yards untouched into the end zone to notch the Colts sixth consecutive victory.
