Eric Fisher Signs With Colts

The new quarterback and his family flew into Indianapolis to tour the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, meet with staff and hold his first press conference on Tuesday.
Brandon Facyson Contract Signing
On Friday the Colts signed free agent cornerback Brandon Facyson. The 27-year-old Facyson has spent his entire four-year career playing under Colts defensive coordiantor Gus Bradley and defensive backs coach Ron Milus between the Los Angeles Chargers (2018-2020) and Las Vegas Raiders (2021). Facyson started a career high nine games for the Raiders in 2021 and broke up 10 passes, tied for the 11th-most among cornerbacks last season.

Matt Pryor Contract Signing
On Wednesday the Colts signed tackle Matt Pryor to a contact extension. Pryor was acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 31 and appeared in all 17 games for the Colts in 2021, including five starts. The versatile Pryor provided stability in starting games at left tackle, right tackle and right guard last season.
Tyquan Lewis Contract Signing
On Wednesday the Colts signed defensive end Tyquan Lewis to a contract extension. Lewis notched 2 1/2 sacks, six quarterback hits and three tackles for a loss in eight games for the Colts in 2021. He suffered a season-ending knee injury after recording his first career interception in Week 8.
Zaire Franklin Contract Signing
On Wednesday the Colts signed linebacker Zaire Franklin to a contract extension. Franklin, a 2018 seventh-round pick (No. 235 overall), hasn't missed a game since debuting for the Colts in Week 1 of his rookie season. He started 11 games in 2021 and recorded his first career interception in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills; a week before, his blocked punt led to an E.J. Speed touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Mo Alie-Cox Contract Signing
The Colts on Tuesday signed tight end Mo Alie-Cox to a contract extension. A former basketball standout at Virginia Commonwealth, Alie-Cox signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He made his NFL debut in 2018 and has appeared in 57 games for the Colts since, catching 70 passes for 936 yards with eight touchdowns. Pro Football Focus rated Alie-Cox as the ninth-best tight end in the NFL since the start of the 2020 season.
