The NFL's Crucial Catch mission is to fight cancer through early detection and risk reduction. The league, its clubs, players, the NFL Player Association and the American Cancer Society are committed to providing individuals with the tools they need to help them better understand early detection and ways to reduce their cancer risk.
Throughout October, the Indianapolis Colts will join Ashley in raising awareness for and supporting fighters and survivors of all types of cancer as part of a Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer.

The Colts and the American Cancer Society are teaming up with Indiana high schools to raise funds to help intercept cancer! The Youth Crucial Catch campaign is formed because cancer has touched all of us in some way, and we want to stop this disease in its tracks. The Indianapolis Colts are recognizing Youth Crucial Catch in collaboration with Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, who lost Owen Scheele, their would-be starting QB, to Leukemia.
The Indianapolis Colts are hosting one of their Friday Night Football Tour events, presented by Greensgroomer, at Carroll on October 7th, where they will be donating $1,000 to Carroll's athletic department. The event will also include giveaways, cheer appearances, and chances to win tickets/autographed memorabilia.
