Cure SMA is a non-profit dedicated to the treatment and cure of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the number one genetic cause of death for infants.

Graham Vollmer, from Westfield, Indiana has been battling SMA since birth.  Graham and his family were successful this spring in getting legislation passed to add SMA to Indiana's newborn screening.  This will ensure all Hoosier babies are tested at birth, can begin early treatment, and will lead to a longer and healthier life.
