"It was kind of how like pre-game goes I guess. It was just something we kind of decided to do. I'm not really into giving the daily progress reports of kind of how it went, but it was something we sort of decided to do last week and we'll just keep progressing this weekend through next week. Hopefully we can just keep feeling better."

"It was good to get back there and doing the same thing the rest of the guys are doing. That's one thing, when you're having to do rehab and you're having to miss practice, it's not really the situation you want to be in, but it's something you have to do though. It was good to get back out there and get in uniform and be around the guys. Hopefully that can be sort of the norm from here on out. At least that's the way I prefer it. I'm still going to have to do some things to keep getting better."

"I sure hope there is. This is what we have to do in order to get ready. It's probably not really for me to answer that at this point. I can't really predict and it's kind of uncharted territory, unchartered waters for me, missing most of the entire training camp. But we'll have to go with what time we have left. Certainly I've been preparing for the season opener for some time from a film standpoint and it's good to get back out there on the field and do more of the physical activity. I was glad to get in some work this week where as next week won't be the first time. I feel I got in some good practices this week, so I thought that was important."

"I've been following it closely with my family and they are dealing with the same things the Saints players are dealing with. Like Coach Dungy said, I know Jon Scott and our equipment guys, Dave Hammer and our training staff will be glad to help those guys out with whatever they need, towels and equipment. I think Jon Scott is going to give them some blocking dummies and sleds. You hate for the people of New Orleans to have to deal with this again, just praying that the hurricane doesn't hit anywhere, doesn't hit any land. As far as helping out the Saints, I know our organization is glad to do it and hopefully they can come up here and have a decent week of practice even though they're dealing with all of those distractions."

"Really we sort of had more daily goals as far as what we wanted to accomplish each day. We certainly knew it was going to take some time before we got back out on the field. I am happy that I got some work in this week. Three practices and essentially I kind of call yesterday almost a practice with the repetitions we got in with the receivers, the running backs and the offensive line in somewhat of a pre-game setting. I thought it was a productive week in the fact that we got some work done on the field, but at the same time didn't miss any rehab time. This is something that I will still have to continue to rehab throughout probably most of the season. Next week I will hopefully get into somewhat of a normal routine of the meetings and the practices, but at the same time, still taking care of the therapy.
