HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – any changes to the practice schedule)

"Friday is as scheduled. We won't make any changes. We kind of swapped last night for tonight and we'll just keep moving."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – adjusting to changes)

"That's one of the things that we talk about with the team, that we're going to have to face some adversity. Some things we are going to have to adjust and move around. I think that's part of getting ready for the season because that's the way the season is also. There are so many things that occur that guys have to be able to make adjustments, but still be able to focus in on the little things like making certain we get our work done. Nothing really will stop us from doing that."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – what the team did after practice was cancelled Wednesday night)

"Some guys went and watched a little film, that kind of thing, but for the most part we were done and picked it back up this morning."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on- How Dwight Freeney has been looking)

"Good. Dwight's doing well. He's performing well and looks good and hopefully we can keep him healthy."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – how Adam Vinaterri is looking)

"Yes, he kicked the ball very well. He's been doing it all along this summer. He's come along, his reports have been great, he feels good and I know he'll continue to progress. It's great to see him back in form. He's doing well and obviously he's a big part of what we do."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – having a lot of special teams practices)

"We have to do it often because it's so important. It's a vital part of our team. It's a critical area that we certainly don't want to undersell. So as often as we can, we go out there and try to take them through all the different scenarios that they're going to have to face in the course of the season. You can't get enough of those."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – the opportunity for rookies to break into a starting spot on special teams)

"It certainly is. Oftentimes when you're looking at filling out your roster, a lot of it includes guys that are maybe backup rolls at their respective positions, but they play a major roll on our special teams. So, I think you find a lot of the young guys are really paying attention to that particular area."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – what the team gets out of having a night practice)

"Number one, obviously, because of the fact that we play a lot of night games, (it) gives us a chance to perform at that time of the evening, see the ball under the lights, so on and so forth. All the things that you would anticipate. Being able to catch the ball under the lights in terms of the receivers, and oftentimes you'll find that the humidity can be a little higher later in the evenings. So all of those things are part of our preparation."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – Pierre Garcon improving even more)

"I think that you'll find that we have a lot of guys on our team that have shown they have the ability, as long as they work hard, and practice and dedicate themselves, that they can improve. I think you've seen that with Reggie ( Wayne.) I think you've seen that with Peyton (Manning.) I think you've seen that with Jeff Saturday, Ryan Diem, Gary Brackett. I can go on and on and on, and I think that's something you have to understand, that it's not one year that certainly is the hallmark of your career. You have to be able to put them back to back for an extended period of time. I do anticipate the way he works, the way he concentrates, the way he functions that he's going to get better."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on – seeing players embrace community outreaches/charities)

"I think that's certainly the way it is with our players, and that starts at the top with Jim Irsay, his community involvement, and he encourages all of us to certainly be a part of our community as well. I think our players do a tremendous job in that area. They dedicate themselves to a number of different causes and are well received by the community. Pierre (Garcon) has a certain situation that is certainly dear to his heart with Haiti. It's his homeland and he is forever indebted to them and he is certainly doing everything he can to make people aware that they're still in need of funds and he's working hard. I think that's important. Players are not just football players, they're fathers, they're brothers, they're uncles and they are members of our society and our community as well. They certainly enjoy taking part in that aspect of it."
