RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on if his limited preseason touches were still helpful to him in getting ready for the regular season) “I think it was. I’ve seen some positive things after being out there.

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on if his limited preseason touches were still helpful to him in getting ready for the regular season) * *

"I think it was. I've seen some positive things after being out there. I think that's the biggest thing. It's really just taking advantage of what you get, and those runs that I've gotten in games, I feel like it was a positive thing."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on what his workload will be this season)

"I really don't know. Each game is different. It's really a feel thing. I really can't say who's going to get the carries and how it's going to be split."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on does he have a preference)

"I think everybody wants the ball every time. Like I said earlier, with me, it's just about going out there and taking advantage of what I get."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on how he feels)

"I feel good, right now. Right now, as we speak, I feel good. That's always a good thing, but no, I feel good going in (to the season)."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on if he's the guy who will get the carry on 3rd-and-1)

"I think it's whoever is in the game. It's pretty much whoever is in the game. Coach has confidence in all the running backs, 3rd-and-1 if you're in the game, go ahead and get it. If it's not one of those situations, we'll huddle up and get the right people in the game."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on the offensive line being healthy in the preseason)

"I think that's real important, especially as far as the run game. We want everybody that is a starter, that is healthy, out there, even backups. We're going to need everybody to step up. I think right now the flow is kind of going in our favor, as far as the injuries and everybody being on the same page."

RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on having some good runs in the preseason giving him confidence heading into the season)

"I think anytime you do something positive it gives you confidence going into the next week, game, practice, whatever. So, I think going into Jacksonville, we feel confident as far as what we're trying to do."

WR-AUSTIN COLLIE (on playing in his first regular season game in the NFL on Sunday)

"I'm excited. I can't wait to be out there, and hopefully, I'll be able to make a difference out there."

WR-AUSTIN COLLIE (on if it will feel different from a preseason game)

"I don't know. I haven't played in a regular season game. We'll just have to find out."

WR-AUSTIN COLLIE (on if he feels as prepared as he can be for the regular season)

"I think so. There is still a lot more that needs to be done, still a lot more that I need to learn, and I think that will continue to go on as the season goes."

WR-AUSTIN COLLIE (on if he knows what his role is going to be Sunday)

"I do not right now. This week, I'm concentrating a lot on the slot and playing special teams, but whatever it is, I'm looking forward to getting out on the field and making a difference."

WR-AUSTIN COLLIE (on learning the slot throughout summer and camp, but lining up out wide in his final preseason appearance at Detroit)

"I think (Assistant Head Coach/Wide Receivers) Coach Clyde (Christensen) and the entire offensive staff expect all the receivers to know each position, just in case. I think that is part of our job. So, I don't think there is anything unusual about that. They wanted me to learn the outside also, just like everybody has to learn the slot and everybody has to learn the outside."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on if he's ready to go for another year)

"Yes. It's officially started. I am ready. I got tired of preseason very fast. So, it's time to get it cranked up and get it going."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on if he got enough work in the preseason)

"I didn't get enough catches, but it's the preseason. But as far as work, I got plenty of work. That's what training camp is all about, a lot of work. Now that we've cut our roster down to the 53, I'll get even more work. It comes with the package."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on being a decoy in the preseason)

"I'm always the decoy in the preseason. If you look at it, we played three games, three catches. I averaged a catch a game. So, we're on track (laughing)."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on if there's a reason why he's had success against Jacksonville)

"I don't know. I just go out there and play hard. Whenever the ball comes my way, I try to do something with it. The reason it's Jacksonville? I'm not sure. Hopefully, we keep that trend going."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on if Jacksonville normally keeps DB-Rashean Mathis on him the whole time)

"They normally don't, but at the same time, we did have 88 (Marvin Harrison) on the other side. What they do now is to be determined. We're about to find out. If he flips, then I'll flip. We'll just keep flipping. It's going to be a chess match."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on the Jacksonville game usually being a hard-fought game and if he expects it to be this year)

"Yes, the reason being it's a division game. They know us well. We know them well. We have some different guys and they have some different guys, but it is still a division game. It's the first game. It's going to be a slugfest."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on how the Colts offense is doing heading into the regular season)

"I think we're doing fine. I think everything is good. We've been stressing all offseason about getting our run game back to where it should be, and once our run game gets going, our passing game will be even better. It all works together. You just have to take it one step at a time and go from there."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on what his expectations are this season)

"Another playoff. Another 12-win season. You shouldn't expect anything different. Coach Caldwell comes in with the same itinerary. Now, we just have to follow it and just follow through with it. I feel like we have the right guys in place. To me, I feel like we're as healthy as we've ever been coming out of preseason. I feel like the sky is the limit for us."

WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on he expects these things not because they've done it in the past, but because of the guys on the team right now)

"You use everything we've done in the past and use it as a stepping stone. We know what it takes. We know everything you need to do to get there. If we follow that blueprint it shouldn't be anything different. We just have to get everybody on the same page and buy into the system and we should be able to take care of business."
