RB- JOSEPH ADDAI (on –Wednesday's night practice) *Wednesday, August 11, 2010 *
"The crowd was in it. All of the defense was into it. I think we got a lot of good work in today."
RB- JOSEPH ADDAI (on –Wednesday night crowd) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"This is the first time I've been in Anderson. I think the only person that was here was Peyton (Manning). It is a different crowd. Everybody is into it. Everybody is encouraging. When the defense is shining, (it) is about defense. When the offense is shining it is all about the offense. It feels like a game atmosphere. I think it is good for some of the younger guys to see what we go through."
RB- JOSEPH ADDAI (on –offensive line continuity) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"That's football and we know that. Everybody would like to have the whole offensive line there, but we understand it is football and we have to work with what we got."
RB- JOSEPH ADDAI (on –offensive changes affecting the 49ers game) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"We will see. The preseason game, that's a test. The good thing in the NFL, it doesn't really count. We can go out there and make our mistakes and come back the next day and watch them. The first four games we can make all of the mistakes we need to and see where we need to improve at."
RB- JOSEPH ADDAI (on –his beard, Reggie's beard and Clint's beard) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"I don't know how long I'm keeping it. I just wanted to do something different. Actually the hair is going into my mouth. I don't know if I am going to keep it for that long. It is a different look. I'm just switching it up. I am trying to get ready for the cold season early, so I don't have to start when the cold gets here. Me, Clint (Session) and Reggie (Wayne) all have it going right now. I'm waiting to see who is going to be the first to cut it off."
OL-TONY UGOH (on –Wednesday's night practice) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"It was cool. There was a lot of fan support out here tonight. So, the atmosphere was really good."
OL-TONY UGOH (on –changes on offensive line) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"Injuries are part of the game and you can't really do anything about it. You just have to adapt and roll with the punches. That's what I'm trying to do."
OL-TONY UGOH (on –Jamey Richard filling in at center) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"It is not the first time that has happened. Jeff was out, I want to say a couple of years ago, and (Richard) filled in and did a great job. It is definitely no different than the last time."
OL-TONY UGOH (on –being comfortable back at left tackle again) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"I've been working at guard so now I have to switch and go back to the tackle mentality, but I'm feeling pretty good."
DE-ROBERT MATHIS (on –improvements the defense has made so far) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"Everywhere. The defensive line, linebackers and defensive backs, we are all getting better and just have to finish the job in Dallas this year."
DE-ROBERT MATHIS (on –second year under Larry Coyer) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"We are a year into it, so we are getting the plays down a little bit more. It is not a learning process. It is a get better process."
DE-ROBERT MATHIS (on –Wednesday night's crowd) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"I'm loving Anderson right now. They come out everyday, strong. They are ready for the Colts and we love them for it. It makes practice a whole lot of fun and go by that much smoother. We you have the crowd going, everybody is talking a little junk. So, everybody's good and enjoying themselves."
DE-ROBERT MATHIS (on –rookie Jerry Hughes) Wednesday, August 11, 2010
"He is a young guy that is getting better with a lot of upside. He is getting better and better and is going to help us a lot."
