T.Y. Hilton, Peyton Manning Featured On Jimmy Kimmel’s NFL ‘Mean Tweets’

Posted Feb 2, 2018

Jimmy Kimmel Live brought it once again on Thursday night with its famous “Mean Tweets,” and its third NFL Edition had plenty of Indianapolis Colts flavor, featuring T.Y. Hilton and Peyton Manning.

INDIANAPOLIS — If you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

Jimmy Kimmel Live’s “Mean Tweets” are a good test to this theory.

You’ve seen these hilarious, often-repeated (admittedly even by us; see below) segments probably many times by now: well-known celebrities and athletes sit in front of the camera with a phone in hand and read, out loud, some not-so-kind tweets in which they, themselves, are the target of someone’s wrath.

Anyway, Kimmel’s show last night had its third NFL Edition of “Mean Tweets,” which featured an awesomely-random collection of football stars past and present getting the business on social media, and this particular segment had a Indianapolis Colts flavor to it, as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and quarterback Peyton Manning got their turn in front of the camera.

Also featured were Rashad Jennings, Gerald McCoy, Travis Kelce, Terry Bradshaw, Fletcher Cox, Ryan Tannehill, Jarvis Landry, Earl Thomas, Amari Cooper, Jason Pierre Paul, Emmanuel Sanders, Danny Amendola, Ndamukong Suh, Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib.

So, without further ado, here are Hilton and Manning, alongside their NFL brethren, getting some laughs at their own expense on last night’s show:

Ouch.

And, while we’re on the subject of “Mean Tweets,” let’s go back in time to June 2016, when the Colts released their own hilarious version:
