Fan Voting for 2008 Colts Cheerleaders Continues
INDIANAPOLIS - The fans are making their voices heard on the 2008 Colts Cheerleaders.
And because of that, the race in the fan voting on Colts.com is too close to call.
Fans have been voting for the 2008 Colts Cheerleaders since auditions on Saturday, April 12. With voting to end on Thursday, April 24, at 6 p.m., the competition for top vote-getter was close as of Wednesday afternoon, with Emily G. leading Brianna F. by 62 votes.
Each had more than 4,600 votes Wednesday afternoon.
Results are updated every five minutes on Colts.com, with fans able to vote for their three favorite cheerleader candidates by visiting www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=cheer_profiles.
The Colts will be selecting approximately 30 women to represent the team on the field as well as in the community at many events and charity functions throughout the State of Indiana.
Entering their 25th season, Colts Cheerleaders continue to be an integral part of the Colts' organization. On the field, these women will be the first to perform for more than 63,000 fans in the new Lucas Oil Stadium. Off the field and in the community, these women donate their hearts and time as community representatives for hundreds of events across the state.
Colts Cheerleaders have appeared at charity functions, conventions, grand openings, fairs, tradeshows, among other events, and they also donate their time to many charitable and civic causes each year. Colts Cheerleaders participated in more than 200 community events throughout Indiana last year, logging more than 1,500 hours of service.
