Max Bortenschlager threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, leading five-time defending state champion Indianapolis Cathedral to a 35-14 win over Lawrence North for the Sectional 6 crown. Luke Sanders had nine receptions for 134 yards and one score, and Phillip Burgess recorded 12 tackles for the Irish. Al McKeller ran for 97 yards and a touchdown for the Wildcats.
Myles Taylor found the end zone twice as Merrillville edged Portage, 28-21, for the Sectional 1 title. Isaiah Thornton added 120 yards rushing and one score, Anthony Tucker had two interceptions, and Adam Neal had a fumble recovery and interception for the Pirates. Jeremiah Ratliff tallied 136 yards on the ground and one score, and Anthony Maceo recorded 132 yards of offense with two scores for the Indians.
Camden Bohn rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown and threw for a pair of scores, helping Penn to a 49-14 win over Chesterton in the Sectional 2 finale. Rashid Fahim added a scoring run and catch, and Landon Martz chipped in two scores on the ground for the Kingsmen. Garritt Slatcoff connected with Rhett Rondinelli for a pair of touchdowns for the Trojans.
Isaac Avant rambled for 164 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Warren Central to a 54-17 win over Southport for the Sectional 7 title. Zach Summeier tossed for 269 yards and one score and ran for 84 yards and two tallies, while Jay Coe added seven receptions for 146 yards and one touchdown for the Warriors. Luke Johnston passed for 200 yards and two scores for the Cardinals.
Bryant Fitzgerald galloped for 173 yards and four touchdowns as Avon knocked off defending state champion Ben Davis, 27-22, in the Sectional 5 title clash. Brandon Peters tossed for 119 yards for the Orioles. Chris Evans tallied 153 yards on the ground and one score, Reese Taylor threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns, and Stori Emerson caught seven passes for 117 yards and two scores for the Giants.
Michael Viktrup overcame four interceptions to accumulate 350 yards of offense in Carmel's 28-7 triumph against Fishers in the Sectional 4 finale. Viktrup tossed for 200 yards and one touchdown and ran for 150 yards and three scores for the Greyhounds. Jeremy Chinn ran for 91 yards and returned an interception 55 yards for a score for the Tigers.
Titus McCoy, Jackson Hohlt, and Ethan Huntringer all scored two touchdowns, leading Center Grove to a 56-6 decision over Jeffersonville for the Sectional 8 title. McCoy rushed for 118 yards and Huntringer added 116 yards for the Trojans. Cam Northern tossed for 105 yards and a score for the Red Devils.
Drew Keszei completed 22-of-25 attempts for 258 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 106 yards and two scores, helping Homestead post a 35-26 win over Carroll (Fort Wayne) in the Sectional 3 final. Austin Krider caught 11 passes for 158 yards and two tallies for the Spartans. Aidan Smith tossed for 231 yards and three scores, and Jordan Schmeling had two scoring receptions for the Chargers.
Alex Neligh combined for almost 350 yards of offense in defending Class 4A state champion New Palestine's 70-6 triumph against Martinsville in Sectional 14 action. Neligh threw for 169 yards and three scores and ran for 176 yards and three touchdowns. Nick Brickens added 145 yards rushing and two scores, Adam Kincaid had two scores on the ground, and Joe Izbicki recorded 12 tackles for the Dragons.
Jordan Swidan hauled in three passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more tallies as Westfield downed Harrison (West Lafayette), 42-21, in Sectional 11 semifinal play. Ryan Pepiot threw for 219 yards and three scores for the Shamrocks. JDan Sturgeon tossed for 197 yards and two touchdowns, and Dawson Dahnke rushed for 104 yards and a score for the Raiders.
Kyle Wade's 12-yard scoring strike to Jordan Matthews with 2:30 remaining lifted Kokomo to a 20-15 win over Muncie Central in a Sectional 12 barnburner. Wade finished with 131 yards passing with two scores to Matthews and Noah Hurlock recorded 14 tackles for the Wildkats. Trenton Hatfield tossed for 160 yards and Andre Wells ran for 212 yards and one score for the Bearcats.
Derrick Whitlock crossed the goal line three times, leading Decatur Central to a 30-27 win over Plainfield in Sectional 13 action. Tyrone Tracy added 199 yards on the ground for the Hawks. Dylan Foster recorded 173 yards rushing and three touchdowns for the Quakers.
Nick Barrett accumulated more than 200 yards of offense in Terre Haute North's 17-7 win over Terre Haute South in Sectional 15 play, Barrett threw for 144 yards and one score and ran for 87 yards and one tally, and Josh Coffey recorded 11 tackles for the Patriots. Justin Jenkins returned a fumble 16 yards for a score, and Ethan Cox racked up 15 tackles for the Braves.
Andrew Burgess threw for 143 yards and four touchdowns, helping South Bend Adams to a 41-28 win over Michigan City in a Sectional 9 semifinal affair. Brandon Wadley added three scoring receptions, and Gabe Brooks ran for 206 yards and two tallies for the Eagles. Michael McCollough tossed for 236 yards and four touchdowns, and Cevin Crawford had six catches for 173 yards and two scores for the Wolves.
Trevor Leighty racked up 290 yards passing with three touchdowns, lifting Zionsville to a 37-7 win over Indianapolis Tech in a Sectional 13 contest. Brenden Mikesell ran for 123 yards with a score and caught a pass for another tally, and Eddie Mattingly hauled in four receptions for 169 yards and one score for the Eagles. Gerrald Garrett tossed for 105 yards for the Titans.
Josh Major and Steven O'Neal combined for more than 250 yards on the ground, leading Columbus East to a 28-14 win over Whiteland in Sectional 14 action. Major ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns, while O'Neal added 168 yards and one tally for the Olympians. Jace Carpenter had a scoring run and pass, and Chris Richardson ran for 118 yards for the Warriors.
Money Woods cashed in for 139 yards rushing and three touchdowns in Fort Wayne Snider's 42-10 win over Goshen in Sectional 10 action. Dominick Scott added three scores, and Isaac Stiebeling passed for 159 yards for the Panthers.
Dakota Johnson's 13 yard touchdown pass to Jack Doughty with 1:14 left in regulation lifted Huntington North to a 33-29 win over Anderson in Sectional 12 play. Johnson finished with 178 yards through the air and five scores, Doughty added another scoring catch, and Alex McCutcheon added six receptions for 109 yards and two tallies for the Vikings. Dylan Barron tossed for 268 yards and three touchdown passes to Aaron Armstrong for the Indians.
Dayne Keller completed 14-of-22 passes for 354 yards and tied a career-high with six touchdowns, leading Castle to a 44-0 blanking over Evansville North in a Sectional 16 semifinal contest. Noah Mclean had six receptions for 183 yards and a career-best four scores, Alex Garren added five catches for 130 yards and two scores, and Jadrien Higginson ran for 115 yards for the Knights.
Darian Phillips ran for 103 yards and three touchdowns as Mishawaka crushed Elkhart Central, 51-7, in Sectional 9 action. Peyton Marshall added 126 yards on the ground, and Devin Watson came up with a pair of interceptions for the Cavemen. Ross Kirkton tossed for 158 yards and one score for the Blazers.
Gavin Yeskie tossed for 299 yards and two touchdowns, leading Bloomington South to a 44-13 win over Bloomington North in Sectional 15 semifinal action. Kristian Pechac ran for 89 yards and three scores, John Earl Rochell-Manns hauled in four receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns, and Sam Helm recorded 15 tackles for the Panthers. Ben Freel tossed for two touchdowns, and Cameron Morgan ran for 148 yards for the Cougars.
Josh Emerson's 67-yard punt return for a touchdown vaulted Concord to a 28-19 win over Fort Wayne North in Sectional 10 play. Cedric Mitchell added an 88-yard kickoff return for another tally along with an interception, and Jason Grooms threw for 160 yards and one tally for the Minutemen. Arion Nieves tossed for 194 yards and two scores, and David Johnson added five catches for 107 yards and one score and also ran for a touchdown for the Redskins.
Joe Jackson came up with three interceptions, including one returned 45 yards for a touchdown, lifting Bedford North Lawrence to a 17-0 blanking of Floyd Central in Sectional 16 action. Brayden Tidd had 161 total yards with a score for the Stars. Michael Sans recorded 14 tackles, Donovan Hickman added 13 stops, and Brady Miller had 12 tackles for the Highlanders.
Cal Krueger booted three field goals, including a 47-yarder with 53 seconds left, lifting Jasper to a 24-22 win over Evansville Reitz in Sectional 24 play. Tate Blessinger ran for 117 yards and two scores for the Wildcats. Evan Deig tossed for 396 yards and two scores, and Elijah Dunham added 10 receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers.
Seth Gallman was 12-of-20 through the air for 220 yards and three touchdowns in Greenwood's 29-17 win over previously unbeaten Northview in Sectional 21 action. Dylan Rosado had a 65-yard reception for a score, returned a fumble 99 yards for another tally, and racked up 10 tackles, while Jackson Daugherty added five catches for 99 yards and two scores for the Woodmen. Tucker Stewart threw for 145 yards and ran for 107 yards and one score, and Marcus Duregger tallied 17 tackles for the Knights.
Jack Barron ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 90 yards and another tally, helping Plymouth to a 56-14 win over DeKalb in Sectional 19 play. Tristen McMillen added 145 yards on the ground and three scores for the Rockies. Harrison Price passed for 143 yards and one touchdown, and Will Chrisman had three catches for 123 yards and one score for the Barons.
Luke Patton carried the ball 35 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns, lifting East Central to a 36-25 win against Shelbyville in Sectional 23 action. Doug Rosemeyer added 117 yards on the ground for the Trojans. John Lux threw for 205 yards and one score, ran for a touchdown, and tallied 10 tackles for the Golden Bears.
Amaun Clark recorded 160 yards rushing with a pair of touchdowns, leading Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger to a 37-6 win over New Haven in a Sectional 20 contest. KeShawn Moore threw for 118 yards and one score for New Haven.
Robbie Strader passed for 156 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Indianapolis Roncalli to a 28-14 win against Lebanon in Sectional 21 semifinal action. Justin Saylor had a pair of catches for scores for the Rebels. Evan Stambaugh threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers.
Tyler Hensinger racked up 149 yards on the ground with two touchdowns, lifting Leo to a 41-8 win over Fort Wayne South in a Sectional 20 semifinal affair. Kray Klopfenstein added two passes for scores for the Lions.
Alan Perry threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns, leading Seymour to a 40-21 win over Silver Creek in Sectional 23 action. Jackson Morris ran for three scores, and Chris Knight recorded 12 tackles for the Owls. Noah Jones had two scores on the ground for the Dragons.
Chase Cochran led a balanced attack with 226 yards rushing and three touchdowns in Pendleton Heights' 41-7 win over Mount Vernon (Fortville) in Sectional 22 play.
Elizjah Harvey scored a pair of touchdowns, including an 80-yard kickoff return, leading Evansville Harrison to a 54-14 win over Boonville in Sectional 24 action. Ryan Hales added 140 yards passing with one score and another on the ground for the Warriors.
Deonne Witherspoon had five receptions for 161 yards and three touchdowns as South Bend Washington took advantage of a missed extra-point in the closing minute to hold on for a 35-34 win over Andrean in a Sectional 18 contest. Tyler White tossed for 220 yards and four scores, and Anthony Brazier added a scoring catch and an 85-yard return of a blocked punt for the Panthers. Bryan Schmidt passed for 113 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, Patrick Reardon threw for 100 yards and one score and ran for another, and David Graham added a pair of scoring receptions for the 59ers.
Ike James scampered for 135 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Lowell to a 35-14 win over Hammond Morton in Sectional 17 action. Darion Hornickle added 118 total yards with a scoring pass and run for the Red Devils. Mark Snorton had 110 yards on the ground and one score for the Governors.
Trey Bilinski tossed for 249 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score, leading NorthWood past Northridge, 43-21, in Sectional 19 play. Braxton Linville caught six passes for 124 yards and ran for a touchdown, and Bronson Yoder added four receptions for 114 yards and two tallies for the Panthers. Dean Ridenour paced the Raiders with a pair of scores on the ground.
Devonte Jones had 152 yards passing with three touchdowns and ran for another tally, helping East Chicago Central to a 26-21 win over Hammond Gavit in a Sectional 17 contest. Jordan Velez came up with a pair of interceptions for the Cardinals. Jobanny Herrera tossed for 142 yards and two scores, and John Wilson chipped in a fumble recovery and interception for the Gladiators.
Tony Carmola rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns and tossed for another tally, lifting South Bend St. Joseph to a 42-6 win over South Bend Riley in Sectional 18 action. Courtney Rowell chipped in 150 yards on the ground with three scores for the Indians. Trevor Teumac had 144 yards passing and one score for the Wildcats.
Zach Mills racked up 126 yards on the ground with four touchdowns, leading Delta to a 49-7 win against New Castle in Sectional 22 play. Ryley Pease was 7-of-9 passing for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and Mitchell Hahn had four catches for 116 yards and one score for the Eagles. Mason Bowers recorded 20 tackles for the Trojans.
Jake Hill passed for 222 yards and four touchdowns, lifting defending state champion Tri-West to a 56-13 win against West Vigo in Sectional 29 semifinal play. Wes Cook chipped in 113 yards rushing with three scores, and Derek Lucas added a touchdown run and catch for the Bruins. Dakota Short had 120 yards rushing for the Vikings.
Jaden Baker hit the 100-yard rushing mark with a touchdown in Garrett's 24-7 win over Jimtown in Sectional 26 action. Tanner Burns threw for two touchdowns, and Kordell Kessler added a scoring catch and run for the Railroaders. Sam Pawlak tossed for 265 yards, and Trevor Hobbs added seven catches for 116 yards for the Jimmies.
Mikey Kidwell tossed for 168 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, leading West Lafayette to a 34-21 win over Hamilton Heights in Sectional 28 play. Mai Carlisle carried the ball four times for 162 yards and one score, while Travis Rolle added 137 yards on the ground with a score and a reception for another tally for the Red Devils. Josh Feltz threw for 241 yards and two touchdowns, and Sterling Weatherford caught 10 passes for 111 yards and two scores for the Huskies.
Gabe Coleman and Jarrod Stiver combined for more than 250 yards on the ground in Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's 14-7 win over Guerin Catholic in Sectional 29 action. Coleman has 168 yards and one score, and Stiver added 91 yards and one tally for the Trojans. Carter McGinnis led the Golden Eagles with 149 yards on the ground and one score.
Caleb Hankenson romped for 182 yards and three touchdowns as Bellmont rolled to a 38-7 win over Fort Wayne Concordia in Sectional 27 play. Jordan Amacker added two scores, including a fumble recovery, for the Braves. Daniel Sparks passed for 156 yards and one score for the Cadets.
Jake Whitfield rambled for 154 yards and three touchdowns and caught a pass for another tally, leading Mishawaka Marian to a 41-21 win over Wheeler in Sectional 25 semifinal play. Anthony Blum recovered a fumble in the end zone and returned a blocked punt six yards for another score for the Knights. Jake LaFever recorded 168 total yards with a scoring pass and run for the Bearcats.
Jack Johnston was 5-of-7 for 143 yards and two touchdowns during Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' 40-7 win over Yorktown in Sectional 27 play. J'Lyn Charlton ran for 120 yards and one score, and Austin Mack added 161 yards on the ground with two scores and a touchdown catch for the Knights. Peyton Stites racked up 15 tackles for the Tigers.
Baylee Adams threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns in North Montgomery's 37-0 shutout of Twin Lakes in a Sectional 28 contest. Devon Zachary had six catches for 133 yards and three scores, Ben Dugard ran 10 times for 129 yards, and Alex Parsons added two scores on the ground for the Chargers. Gabe Howe racked up 13 tackles for the Indians.
Zach Mears accumulated 165 yards rushing with three touchdowns, helping Batesville to a 49-22 win over Indian Creek in Sectional 30 action. Leo Enenking added a pair of scoring tosses to Jacob Wilson and touchdown run for the Bulldogs. Gyson Robley tossed for 267 yards and two scores for the Braves.
Nick Sellers tossed for 257 yards and ran for three touchdowns, lifting Gibson Southern to a 48-7 thrashing of Sullivan in Sectional 32 play. J.J. Miller and Dylan Stefanich both ran for two scores, Griffin Scheller added 104 yards on the ground, and Grant Allen chipped in seven catches for 114 yards for the Titans. Trey Powell had 2111 yards passing and one score for the Golden Arrows.
David Pumarejo and Ryan Hallenback both surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in Culver Academy's 57-28 win over Lakeland in Sectional 26 action. Pumarejo tallied 110 yards and a touchdown, while Hallenback had 106 yards, Jakob Young, Connor Caponis, and Polhamus added two scores apiece for the Eagles. Eli Wallace ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns, and Erik Mellinger added 147 yards through the air and one score for the Lakers.
Gaage Fetter tossed for 110 yards and two touchdowns as Southridge cruised to a 44-12 win over Corydon Central in Sectional 31 play. Nolan O'Brien had 102 yards and one score for the Raiders. Austin Kopp tallied 179 yards on the ground and one score for the Panthers.
Saul Vargas' 31-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter held up as Hammond slipped past Griffith, 17-14, in Sectional 25 action. Devon Moore threw for 187 yards, and Tim Echoles caught seven passes for 123 yards and returned a kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown for the Wildcats.
Gavin Bane scampered for 160 yards and two touchdowns as well as three two-point conversions, leading Brownstown Central to a 44-19 win over Charlestown in Sectional 31 play. Bane also recorded 13 tackles, while Kyle Kramer accumulated 160 total yards with two scores and Ryan Benter had a touchdown, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery for the Braves. Brendan Lawler tossed for 128 yards and two scores, and Antonyo Gaddie added 101 yards rushing with a touchdown run and catch for the Pirates.
Joe Bichler accumulated 60 yards on the ground, including 21-yard touchdown run, helping Princeton to a 20-12 win over Mount Vernon (Posey) in Sectional 32 action. Cam Maier recorded 182 total yards with two scoring throws for Posey.
Austin Bowling ran for 197 yards and three touchdowns, leading Lawrenceburg to a 35-27 win over Greensburg in Sectional 30 play. Mason Parris tallied 15 tackles for the Tigers. Drew Foster passed for 306 yards and three scores and ran for another touchdown, Devin Ruble had nine catches for 125 yards and one score, and Zach Pokrzywinski added two touchdown receptions for the Pirates.
Lex Martin's 15-yard touchdown pass to Drew Tucker with 40 seconds remaining lifted Indianapolis Scecina rally for a 26-22 win over Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter in a Sectional 37 thriller. Martin added a score on the ground, and Darrell Johnson ran for 101 yards and one tally for the Crusaders. Alex Downard threw for 120 yards and two scores, and Avery Hall rushed for 149 yards and one tally for the Raiders.
Jackson Cain's three-yard touchdown scamper in overtime led Lewis Cass to a 21-14 win over Winamac in Sectional 34 action. Cain finished with 155 yards on the ground for the Kings. Matt Shorter ran for 103 yards and two scores, and Maverick Schultz racked up 17 tackles for the Warriors.
Kiante Enis racked up 160 yards rushing with three touchdowns and caught a pass for another score as Winchester blanked Elwood, 28-0, in a Sectional 36 contest. Austin Lawrence tossed for 129 yards and one score, Dillon Williams recorded 16 tackles, and Titus Edwards added 13 stops for the Golden Falcons.
Quentin Graber's extra-point was the difference as Woodlan slipped past Eastside, 14-13, in Sectional 35 play. Mitchell VanBrocklin ran for 108 yards and one score for the Warriors. Trent Huff had 112 yards rushing with two scores, and Landen Brow racked up 12 tackles for the Blazers.
Ben Thacker found the end zone three times, leading Triton Central to a 56-0 shutout over Centerville in Sectional 38 action. Ethan Demaree chipped in two scores, and Aaron Steele tallied a pair of interceptions for the Tigers.
Jackson Liddick was 5-of-8 passing for 158 yards and three touchdowns in Eastbrook's 69-14 thrashing of Taylor in a Sectional 36 semifinal contest. Peyton Watson rushed for 146 yards and two scores and caught a pass for another tally, and Luke Elliott ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns and had a catch for another score for the Panthers. Darian Stone paced the Titans with a touchdown throw and run.
Max Haste tallied 102 yards on the ground with two touchdowns, guiding North Putnam to a 40-32 win over Paoli in Sectional 39 action. Kyle Jeter ran for 108 yards, and Brad Hodges added three scoring tallies for the Cougars. Garrett Tolen had three touchdowns for the Rams.
Garrett Elder and Hunter Reed combined for more than 350 yards rushing and five touchdowns as Whitko downed Churubusco, 34-27, in Sectional 35 play. Elder had 249 yards and three scores, while Reed added 111 yards and two tallies for the Wildcats. Drew Buffenbager tossed for 164 yards and two scores, Chance Gallmeyer added five catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and Landon Harris had 163 yards on the ground with a one tally for the Eagles.
Drayke Richardt's four touchdown runs were more than enough to help Evansville Mater Dei cruise to a 41-7 win over Our Lady of Providence in Sectional 40 play. Kurtis Wilderman threw for 221 yards, and Mitch Lehman recorded 154 yards of offense with a score for the Wildcats. Alex Roederer had 133 yards rushing for the Pioneers.
Dalton Smith and Garrison Lee both rolled up more than 100 yards on the ground in Monrovia's 42-7 win over Southmont in Sectional 39 play. Smith ran for 169 yards and one score, while Lee added 149 yards. Jaden Rhea and John Williams chipped in two scores apiece for the Bulldogs.
Alex Stewart rushed for a career-high 278 yards and four touchdowns, leading North Posey to a 41-14 win over Eastern (Pekin) in a Sectional 40 affair. Isaac Mayer added 106 yards and one score for the Vikings. Quentin Knight ran for 102 yards for the Musketeers.
Matt Box tossed for 240 yards and four touchdowns in Bremen's 48-0 blanking of Oak Hill in Sectional 34 action. Box also ran for a score, Ryan Topper had seven receptions for 152 yards and a tally, and Nathan Mullen added a touchdown run and catch for the Lions.
Justin Johnson tallied three trips to the end zone as Indianapolis Howe downed previously undefeated Eastern Hancock, 34-13, in Sectional 28 semifinal play.
Stuart Glascow had 144 yards passing with three touchdowns in Whiting's 49-14 win over Gary Roosevelt in Sectional 33 play. Carlos Madden rushed for 178 yards and one score, Martin Petruf added two scoring receptions, and Tommy Davenport had two scores on the ground for the Oilers.
Jeremy Nutter converted field goals of 24, 37, and 42 yards, guiding Heritage Christian to a 23-7 win against Speedway in Sectional 37 semifinal play. Peyton Estes threw for 274 yards and one score for the Eagles. Chris Valentine racked up 113 total yards and a scoring throw for the Sparkplugs.
Jake Krause scampered for 155 yards and one score, lifting Knox to a 41-6 triumph over North Newton in Sectional 33 play. Drew Dan added two trips to the end zone for the Redskins. Jono Bigger threw for 170 yards and rushed for a touchdown for the Spartans.
Payton Smith had five carries for 208 yards and two touchdowns in Pioneer's 77-20 triumph over South Newton in Sectional 41 play. Jack Kiser added 196 yards rushing with four touchdowns, and Sam Kiser chipped in 110 total yards with a scoring pass and run for the Panthers. John Dafcik tossed for 364 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score, and Skylar Sanders had seven receptions for 201 yards for the Rebels.
Jackson Frieden scampered for 266 yards and three scores and returned an interception 65 yards for another score, lifting Northfield to a 43-13 win over Southwood in a Sectional 43 contest. Jake Reid tossed for 151 yards and four touchdowns, lifting Indianapolis Lutheran to a 53-0 shutout over Indiana Deaf in a Sectional 46 semifinal contest. Andre Jones ran for 108 yards and two scores, and Trevor Russell caught a pair of touchdown passes for the Saints.

Jansen Blevins tallied 134 yards rushing with a touchdown in Monroe Central's 20-6 upset of previously unbeaten Tri-Central in a Sectional 44 contest. Beau Combs added 14 tackles and a scoring reception for the Golden Bears. Kaleb Causey recorded 13 tackles for the Trojans.
Nick Cupp threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns, helping Cambridge City Lincoln to a 35-24 win over Tri in Sectional 46 action.
Landon McPheeters rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns, leading West Washington to a 34-21 win over Eastern Greene in Sectional 47 play. Jeff Graham tossed for 213 yards and one score and ran for a touchdown for Eastern Greene.
Chase Joseph went 9-of-11 through the air for 338 yards and four touchdowns as Clinton Prairie blanked Carroll (Flora), 50-0, in Sectional 42 play. Sam Schoonveld ran for 187 yards and two scores, and Trevor Reece added six catches for 249 yards and three tallies for the Gophers. Johnny Ovalle ran for 132 yards for the Cougars.
Pierce Jackson romped for 141 yards and a touchdown and caught a pass for another tally, leading Linton-Stockton to a 63-7 win over Perry Central in Sectional 48 play. Tyler Meurer added three scoring passes for the Miners.
Hunter Bates ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns in Adams Central's 35-7 win over Southern Wells in Sectional 44 action. Bates also had 11.5 tackles for the Flying Jets.
Brennan Wilde rushed for three touchdowns as North Judson rolled to a 56-0 win over Lake Station in Sectional 41 play. Bryce Wilde had a score on the ground as well as a 47-yard interception return for another tally, and Drake Lewis scored twice for the Bluejays.

Trey Thompson added 127 yards and two scores, and Brayden Kutch had a scoring run and catch for the Thunderbirds. Kyle Tuley ran for 148 yards and threw for 93 yards and one score for the Braves.
