The Indianapolis Colts will host the Carolina Panthers in its third consecutive contest at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game will conclude the Colts' slate against the NFC South Division this season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Carolina leads the all-time series between the two teams with a 3-1 record. Indianapolis won the last meeting in 2007 by a 31-7 margin at Bank of America Stadium. In that game, running back Joseph Addai totaled 23 rushes for 100 yards and two touchdowns while safety Antoine Bethea contributed with five tackles and one interception.
Indianapolis returns from the bye week looking for its first win of the season. Dating back to 2005, the Colts have recorded a 6-0 record when returning from the bye. Carolina jumped out to a 27-14 halftime advantage, but could not hold the lead as the Detroit Lions mounted a second half comeback and defeated the Panthers 49-35 at Ford Field. Rookie quarterback Cam Newton threw for 280 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions in the outing.
The Colts will return to the road in Week 13 to battle the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Indianapolis will then travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens the following week at M&T Bank Stadium.
