INDIANAPOLIS – As the NFL spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues to shine, the Indianapolis Colts in partnership with Tyler Mason Salon and Spa provided a day of pampering to 10 women who have been impacted by the disease. The women were selected based on nominations received in the second annual "Pamper Her Pink" program. The event began with services at Tyler Mason Salon and Spa and concluded with dinner downtown at the Indianapolis Colts Grille.
On Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Tyler Mason Salon and Spa, the winners enjoyed a relaxing afternoon partaking in a variety of services, including massages, make-up tutorials, hair design cut and style, manicures and more. After the pampering salon services, the winners were chauffeured VIP style, in limousines, to meet their guests and Colts players downtown at Colts Grille.
Colts CB Josh Gordy, LS Matt Overton, and P Pat McAfee greeted the women and their guests for an evening of photos, food and fun. The honorees and guests shared stories and interacted with the players while enjoying a gourmet meal. The Lombardi Trophy was even on site for a perfect photo op.
The "Pamper Her Pink" program was launched in 2012 to provide a day of relaxation for breast cancer patients who have overcome tremendous hurdles, leaving them with little time or energy to focus on self-rejuvenation. Nominations for the program were accepted online mid-September to early-October. The program received hundreds of submissions throughout Indiana from spouses, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, co-workers and friends.. Each woman's special and unique battle with breast cancer was considered in addition to external hardships and circumstances faced during her journey. The women honored also remained committed to their community and helping others in their own time of need.

Twenty additional nominees were also recognized by the Indianapolis Colts through the 2013 "Pamper Her Pink" program and received special care packages.
"Pamper Her Pink" is one of several Colts events related to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At the beginning of October, the team kicked off the month-long celebration with the annual "Pinking of the Canal" event and dedicated their October 6 home game to the NFL's "A Crucial Catch" initiative.
