EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. —The Indianapolis Colts (1-5) fell to the New York Jets (3-3), 42-34, today at MetLife Stadium. Here are the updates from today's game.

FOURTH QUARTER

— Andrew Luck to tight end Erik Swoope for the 2-yard touchdown reception. Swoope should've had one last week, too, but was just ruled short of the goal line. Colts get it to six, 33-27, with 14:52 left in the fourth quarter. That was an impressive 14-play, 75-yard drive that took 4:01 off the clock.

— Injury update: wide receiver Ryan Grant (ankle) is OUT.

— Jason Myers hits a 45-yard field goal. He's been solid today, hitting five field goals and two extra points. Jets extend their lead to 36-27 with 9:40 left in the fourth quarter.

— Andrew Luck throws his third pick of the day; this one is nabbed by linebacker Darron Lee, who takes it to the Indy 25-yard line.

— Jason Myers with his 20th point of the day; hits the field goal to put the Jets up 39-27 with 5:55 left in the fourth quarter.

— Jets' 45-yard field goal. That's 23 points for Jason Myers. It's his seventh field goal of the day, which is the most in Jets history (and he's only the seventh person in NFL history to do that). Jets 42, Colts 27. 3:19 left in the fourth quarter.

— Luck to Chester Rogers, 17-yard touchdown pass. Adam Vinatieri with the extra point, and Indy trails, 42-34, with 1:51 left in the fourth quarter.

— FINAL: Jets 42, Colts 34.

THIRD QUARTER

— Tight end Chris Herndon breaks wide open, and Sam Darnold finds him for a 32-yard touchdown play. Jets extend lead to 30-13 with 12:03 left in the third quarter. Colts will need another superhuman effort out of its offense, Andrew Luck, to get back into this one.

— Luck to tight end Eric Ebron for the 18-yard touchdown. Ebron now has a career-high six touchdown receptions (it's Week 6…). Jets still lead, 30-20; 8:44 left in the third quarter.

— Jason Myers 37-yard field goal makes it 33-20, Jets; 3:53 left in the third quarter. Nice play by cornerback Quincy Wilson to secure the tackle on third down to force the kicking unit onto the field.

— At the end of the third quarter, the Colts are cookin'. They are facing a 2nd and Goal from the 2, and a touchdown and extra point gets them to 33-27. Right now, it's 33-20 Jets heading into the fourth quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

— Colts get all the way to the Jets' 1-yard line after the interception by Malik Hooker, but can only turn it into a 21-yard Adam Vinatieri field goal, tying the game at 10 with 13:25 left in the second quarter. Indy faced 1st and Goal from the 1, and running back Marlon Mack was stuffed for a loss of one yard, a quick pass to Eric Ebron was stopped for another loss of one, and running back Nyheim Hines was unable to hold on to an Andrew Luck pass in the front of the end zone on third down.

— Darius Leonard with the great punch to get the ball out, and Al-Quadin Muhammad picks it up. Second takeaway by the Colts' defense in as many Jets drives. It's Leonard's second-career forced fumble.

— Colts get a second straight takeaway, but get a second straight field goal out of it. But they take their first lead, 13-10, with 11:24 left in the second quarter.

— Robert Turbin has been like clockwork converting 3rd and 1s the last few years. But he coughs the ball up on what could've been a key drive for Indy, and the Jets recover at the Colts' 43-yard line.

— Jets take advantage of the Colts' turnover. Sam Darnold finds Terrelle Pryor for a seven-yard touchdown. New York re-takes the lead, 17-13, with 2:35 left in the second quarter.

— Now Indy turns it over on two straight possessions. Andrew Luck is picked off by Avery Williamson, who returns it to the Colts' 22.

— Injury update: running back Robert Turbin (shoulder) is questionable to return.

— Jihad Ward with his third sack this season. But Jason Myers converts a 48-yard field goal, putting the Jets up, 20-13, with 1:25 left in the second quarter.

— Injury update: running back Robert Turbin (shoulder) is OUT. Colts back down to three active running backs.

— Jets just put on a clinic when it comes to utilizing timeouts and making plays to squeeze out a field goal to end the second quarter. New York takes 23-13 lead into halftime.

FIRST QUARTER

— The Colts' first possession ... isn't ideal. On 1st and 10, Andrew Luck's pass goes off the hands of Chester Rogers. Incomplete. On the next play, Luck tries to find running back Marlon Mack on a screen play, but the ball bounces off his hands. This time, however, cornerback Morris Claiborne is there to pick it off and run it back 17 yards for the touchdown. 7-0 Jets, just 12 seconds into this thing.

— Great reaction by the Colts. Two plays after Luck finds tight end Mo Alie-Cox for 34 yards to get on the Jets' side of the field, Luck finds wide receiver Marcus Johnson for a 34-yard touchdown pass. That's Johnson's first-career touchdown. It's 7-all with 12:16 left in the 1Q.

— Colts' defense allows some chunks, but Jets can only get a field goal out of it thanks to some nice gang tackling late in the drive. Jets lead 10-7, 4:33 left in the first quarter.

— Jabaal Sheard with the huge pressure, forces a rushed from the rookie quarterback Sam Darnold. Malik Hooker picks it off — his first of the season, and the fourth of his career.

— At the end of the first quarter, the Jets lead the Colts, 10-7.

— Jihad Ward with his third sack this season. But Jason Myers converts a 48-yard field goal, putting the Jets up, 20-13, with 1:25 left in the second quarter.
