HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on LB-Clint Session getting more comfortable in the past month) * *

"I think so. I think that would be a way to describe it, experience. Through his experience, I think he is starting to play a lot faster. He certainly has the physical tools to play well. It's just a matter of getting accustomed to what he sees and being able to react to it quickly enough to be effective, and I think he's been doing that quite well of late."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on players' enthusiasm)

"I don't have any problem with it, to be honest with you. They get excited. They love to play. I think a little bit of that adds something to the game. (I have) no problem at all. Everybody kind of handles it differently, but I don't mind it."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on having a good success rate on challenges this season)

"We have good coaches with good eyes. They certainly help. When it's on the other side of the field it's hard to see, but oftentimes they have to wait until the replay monitor shows (the play). In a number of cases, it will show upstairs before we see it on the jumbotron, particularly on away games because away games they will not show it on field level. It's important that they take a look, and we get some good feedback from it. Oftentimes, guys on offense might not be watching the defensive side. They might be embroiled in a conversation of some sort about strategy. So, each side of the ball there is usually someone that says, 'Hey coach you need to take a look at this.' We look at it and respond from that point."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on trusting coaches more than players in challenging a play)

"They (coaches) get a chance to see the replay. It could be a situation where a player does believe that he reached a certain segment or point or made a catch or whatever it might be, but when you look at it on replay it usually tells the whole story."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on K-Matt Stover returning to Baltimore)

"Obviously, when you've played that long there is going to be thoughts that take you back to some great memories they've had through the years. He was a very, very productive member of their team, but not only that, he endeared himself to the community, as well. He still lives there. His kids attend school there. His wife is there. So, he goes back whenever he can during the course of the week. I know there's going to be a bit of nostalgia for him, as well. He's well thought of and well liked. I've read a few of the comments about his association with the team from LB-Ray Lewis and several members that they certainly love him."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on what concerns him about Baltimore's team)

"I think there are a number of things. Obviously, they have a defense that is relentless. They are very, very physical. They do a great job. Also, they have an offense that is equally as physical. They run the ball at you extremely well with a great group of backs, and (they have) a quarterback that can function very well with receivers that are talented. I'm not certain that there is anything that we can say that one is greater than the other. They give you problems in all areas. Their kicking game, (CB-Lardarius) Webb is a very, very fine return man. Whenever S-Ed Reed is involved in any of the special teams, he's difficult to handle. All across the board, they are a well-coached team that does everything well."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on facing a possibly desperate Baltimore team)

"I'm not in position to assess them and their situation. I kind of like to look at ours and see where we are. I know one thing, we need this game pretty badly ourselves. We want this game as well because of that reason, and I think it will be a nice, hard-fought battle."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if he likes his team's focus this week)

"So far. We've been able to adjust our sights and get ourselves focused. Preparation has been good, up to this point. We hope that continues."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on having 13 players on Wednesday's injury report)

"It's quite extensive, but we anticipate that we're going to get a few of them back. How many, I'm not certain. It's kind of a day-by-day thing. We'll see once we get close to practice time who can do a little bit more today than yesterday. Hopefully, toward the end of the week, as we move on, we'll get a majority of them back."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on playing Baltimore a lot in the past few seasons)

"I think we do have a good feel for them. Their personnel and what they do is not foreign to us. We have played them consistently through the years. They've always been a great challenge for us. We are familiar with what they do, from that standpoint, and we know that we have our work cut out for us."
