The Indianapolis Colts (13-5) will battle the New England Patriots (13-4) in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday evening in Foxborough, Mass. Kickoff is set for 6:40 p.m. EST at Gillette Stadium.

The Colts will play in the conference championship for the first time since the 2009 campaign. Overall, Indianapolis holds a 1-3 record against New England in the postseason, with the sole victory coming in the 2006 AFC Championship Game en route to the team's Super Bowl XLI victory.

Last week in the AFC Divisional round against the Broncos (1/11/15), the Colts claimed a 24-13 victory. Indianapolis' defense held Denver to 288 net yards (88 rushing and 200 passing) and 4-of-16 on third down attempts (25 percent). Cornerback Vontae Davis notched a career-high five passes defensed, while outside linebacker Jonathan Newsome posted his first career sack-forced fumble in the postseason. Offensively, running back Daniel "Boom" Herron scored his second rushing touchdown in as many weeks. Quarterback Andrew Luck found tight end Dwayne Allen and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks in the end zone in the second and third quarters, respectively.

New England overcame two 14-point deficits last week and defeated the Baltimore Ravens at home by a score of 35-31. Quarterback Tom Brady completed 33-of-50 passes for 367 yards, three touchdowns and one interception for a 99.3 passer rating. Wide receiver Julian Edelman had a game-high eight receptions for 74 yards and also threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Danny Amendola.
