DE-DWIGHT FREENEY (on Titans QB-Steve McNair) 9/13/04
"When a play breaks down, and we get there, there's still a chance for him to make a play for his team. So, he creates for his team so well. He's like a Donovan McNabb type…when the play breaks down, he'll scramble out and make some room, make some opportunities for the receivers."
DE-DWIGHT FREENEY (on not being able to think the play is over with QB-Steve McNair) 9/13/04
"Usually, you go against a quarterback, you're right there, you just make the tackle, the sack. This guy is like a wall. You hit him, he's throwing you off, he's throwing everybody off, he's scrambling. So, it's going to be a tough game, but I think we'll be alright."
DE-DWIGHT FREENEY (on if he is anticipating receiving more attention from offensive lines) 9/13/04
"I expect to get double- and triple-teamed every pass, like last game and the preseason and last year. So, I just have to get used to that. You can't use that as an excuse. You just have to find a way."
DE-DWIGHT FREENEY (on how he continues to get sacks being double-teamed) 9/13/04
"You have to wait for your opportunity. Opportunities will come, and when you get it, you have to seize it. If I get four one-on-ones, I have to win one of those four or all those four. So, you just have to keep fighting. The thing is, about football, you never know when it's going to come."
